Makes me wonder if he realizes it’s Britney Spears…

Congratulations Cody Johnson broke out big, winning his first two trophies at last night's "CMT Music Awards".  "Dear Rodeo" won the Digital-First Performance of the Year, and "Til You Can't" took home Male Video of the Year. The awards show was ok, first time I’ve ever seen ‘Rope Acrobatics’ associated with country music…but, you go Carrie!!

Kelsea Ballerini is co-hosting the CMT Awards tonight…she says she isn’t to worried about messing up the hosting…but there IS one things she worries about…“If I mess up reading a prompter, that’s not what I’m great at so that’s ok.  So, I feel less pressure with the talking part, it’s the singing part I’m like if I mess THAT up I’m firing myself!” That could be a little upsetting…The 2022 CMT Awards air tonight on CBS.

The Will Smith Jada Pinkett Smith drama continues as a clip from a past episode of Jada’s ‘Red Table Talk’ internet show has surfaces were Jada confesses she really didn’t want to get married. “When really I just wanted it to be the two of us on a mountain, cause this is serious business.  The wedding was horrible. ”That may answer a lot of questions…like Will being stressed, Jada’s boyfriend etc…

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are engaged again, and this time I just KNOW they're gonna make it.  Jennifer teased a "major announcement" Saturday on Instagram, pointing fans to her online newsletter, OnTheJLo.com . . . where she posted a video of herself wearing her new engagement ring. It has a green stone with a silver band worth $10 MILLION.  Flowers are so overrated,  They have yet to set a date, but are considering March of 2024 for the divorce.

Congratulations Miranda Lambert and Elle King's their song "Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home)" has reached Number One on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.  That's the first solo female duet to top that chart since Reba McEntire and Linda Davis did it in 1993 with "Does He Love You".

Tiger Woods is indeed playing the Masters . . ..We wondered if Tiger Woods would ever WALK again, let alone play golf professionally.  Well yesterday, he was 1 under par in the opening round of The Masters, finishing in the top 10, and his tee shot on 6 was close to a hole in one.  We think there's a new TV reboot in the works.  "The Six Hundred Million Dollar Man".

The US Post Office is raising the price of stamps from 58 cents to 60 cents. The price hike will go into effect after July 10th ..People still send letters?

Will Smith is allegedly headed to a celebrity retreat for help. A source tells the news outlets, "The impact of the backlash has hit Will hard, so he will be getting help on dealing with stress. he will be doing a lot of soul searching and working out how he can move forward". Meanwhile a 2019 video has gone viral in it Will asks Jada to not use him to boost her social media presence. Someone posted the video yesterday.

Carrie Underwood's new album ''Denim and Rhinestones'' will be released on June 10th. Music Row magazine says Jason Aldean, Bryan Adams, Thomas Rhett and Little Big Town have been added to the list of performers for the CMT Awards on Monday, April 11th on CBS.

Dierks Bentley received a Star on the Music City Walk of Fame. He jokes that his career has peaked. But for him, what song put him on his career path “When I was 17 my buddy Jack Brown, played me two songs one was Hank Jr’s ‘Man To Man’  which totally blew all the circuits in my brain.  One was Marty Stewart ‘That’s Country’.  Those two songs back-to-back, just totally, I just can even describe the certainty of knowing what I wanted to do.” So there were TWO songs and is it surprising at all that one of those was a Hank  Jr song….

Jada Pinkett Smith's ex-boyfriend, August Alsina, is writing a memoir. Publishers are offering him a six-figure deal to talk about his relationship with Jada.  Meanwhile, Will Smith's biggest fear is that he is going to be canceled because he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars.  He’s seeing many of his future movie rolls and projects being put on hold and there’s nothing he can do about it.  The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will meet April 8^th to discuss possible sanctions for Will.
