Remember when an Internet campaign convinced the suits at "Saturday Night Live" to let Betty White host?  Well, a similar thing might happen for Carol Burnett. "SNL" asked fans on Twitter who they'd like to see host, and Carol got an avalanche of support. . Here's the kicker:  If Carol does the show, she'll be the oldest person who's EVER hosted.  She's 89 years old.  Betty was only 88 when SHE hosted. It could be NBC's golden opportunity to snag some CBS viewers.  If they can stay up that late.

The Rock has been known to indulge in cheat meals that would KILL the average human being.  But he can do that because he's so strict most of the time. Stephen Merchant, who directed The Rock in the movie "Fighting with My Family", says that when he goes to restaurants with his friends, he brings his own food, and asks the cooks to heat it up for him.

At first I thought this was a joke…but, it’s not.   Yesterday, the first trailer dropped for the horror movie "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey". Christopher Robin returns to the Hundred Acre Wood he abandoned years ago . .He's expecting everything to be just like he left it, but he's so, so wrong.  Pooh and Piglet have gone FERAL . . . and it looks like they've offed Eeyore along the way.  See the trailer HERE

CBS is bringing back "New Year's Eve Live:  Nashville's Big Bash".  The first announced performers are Little Big Town, Kelsea Ballerini, Brooks & Dunn, and Zac Brown Band . . . and there WILL be more.  In addition to airing on CBS, it'll also be streaming live and on Paramount+.

Ashley Judd wrote an essay for the "New York Times" about why it's so important for families . . . even famous families . . . to be able to maintain privacy in the wake of a death.  Of course, in her case she's talking about the tragic passing of her mother Naomi, who committed suicide in April.

A South Wales woman got the scare of her life when shopping in a quirky antique store…she found a hideous, naked, life-size replica of Sylvester Stallone. It’s a prop replica of his character from "Demolition Man", who was cryogenically frozen.  It probably came from the old Planet Hollywood in Sydney which was closed in 2002…they’re not saying how much she paid for it….

Chase Rice was so inspired by his "Key West & Colorado" video, that he went out and bought an Airstream trailer.  He said he's going to take it on tour with him.  But more importantly, he asked fans, quote, "What should I name her?"

The Sanderson sisters won't be the only ones returning to Salem when Hocus Pocus 2 premieres on Disney+ this fall. Ahead of the upcoming Sept. 30. Disney+ has released fans' first look at Doug Jones' return as Billy Butcherson, Winifred zombified ex-boyfriend. The pic was shared by Entertainment Weekly, and the new image sees Billy standing in a graveyard and looking almost identical to how he looked in the first film, the character practically frozen in time in a centuries-old body.

D.J. is being written out of "The Conners".  Michael Fishman is leaving to concentrate on other projects, which include opportunities to write and direct.  Michael has already directed several episodes of "The Conners". Even though that makes it sound like he was let go, "People" claims the door is open for him to return.  The new season kicks off on September 21st.

Chris Rock said he turned down an offer to host the 2023 Oscars.  He joked that it'd be like returning to the scene of a crime.  He also said he's refused to do a Super Bowl commercial.

Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans are splitting up after almost five years of marriage.  She announced it online yesterday, Morgan confirmed it on his Instagram, and said, "I wish it were otherwise but sadly it's not." Kelsea and Morgan got married in December of 2017.  She's 28 and he's 37.

Britney Spears in a since deleted audio message revealed that she turned down a lucrative offer for a sit-down tell all about her conservatorship with Oprah Winfrey. Radar Online says a source tells the website that Britney's claims are false. "They 100% did not offer Britney money for an interview. Oprah does not pay. She didn’t pay Meghan and Harry and wouldn’t pay Britney.”

Trace Adkins did something frightening while filming his upcoming show "Monarch".  And by frightening, I mean getting busy with Susan Sarandon.  He says "In our first scene we had to make out on a private jet and he was terrified." Luckily, Trace got through it, thanks to Susan. adding She's a pro who's seen and heard everything, which made it easy for him.  Quote, "So when I realized that 'she's got this' then I became very comfortable ‘Monarch’ premiers on Fox September 11^th at 7pm.

A British couple named James and Nikki Roadnight got married over the weekend.  And they just happened to hold their reception at a hotel Keanu Reeves was staying at. Obviously, they didn't know that, until James ran into Keanu at the bar.  He invited Keanu to the reception, and he said MAYBE. An hour later, he showed!! He took pictures and spoke to some of the guests….

"House of the Dragon" just premiered last Sunday, and HBO has already renewed it for a second season.  Which isn't surprising . . . given what a SMASH the premiere was. Around 10 million viewers watched it when it first aired . . . and within a few days, that number grew to 20 million. There are at least seven other live-action and animated “Game of Thrones"- related projects in development.  The success of "House of the Dragon" could speed up the progress on some or all of those.

Jennifer Lopez is upset because someone videotaped the private performance she did at her wedding for Ben Affleck.  That person then sold the footage online. Jennifer posted, "This was taken without permission. Period.  Whoever did it took advantage of our private moment. I don't know where you all are getting it from because we had NDAs and asked everyone not to share anything from our wedding...Somebodies in trouble....

Zac Brown had an abusive fan removed from the crowd on Friday in Camden, New Jersey.  The band was performing "Chicken Fried" when Zac saw a male concert goer "screaming in the face" of a little girl and a woman next to her, and that sent him over the top, so he stopped the show.  Zac called him out, and had security remove him. Zac ain’t havin it!!
