LIZ SHERIDAN, who played Jerry's mom on "Seinfeld", died Friday.  She was 93 years old.  Liz also played the nosey neighbor on the '80s sitcom "ALF", and had a love affair with JAMES DEAN in the '50s…and A dog named Toby Keith is now the oldest chihuahua in the world.  Little Toby set the record on March 16th when he turned 21 years, and 66 days

Actor Cuba Gooding Jr. pleaded guilty Wednesday to forcibly kissing a worker at a New York nightclub in 2018 in a deal that is likely to keep him out of jail.   Gooding also publicly apologized for the first time to two other women who accused him of similar behavior in separate encounters, calling himself a “celebrity figure” who meant no harm.  His admissions were part of a plea deal that came nearly three years after the Oscar-winning “Jerry Maguire” star was arrested in the case that saw several delays as his lawyers sought to get charges reduced or dismissed.

Yesterday was LORETTA LYNN's 90th birthday, and I'm sure one of the ways she celebrated was by watching a video that was posted on her Facebook page.  It featured a steady stream of country stars wishing her the best. Included are Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Alan Jackson . . . and Dolly Parton who sang "Happy Birthday".  You can see the video below....

Josh Brolin this morning with Kelly And Ryan ... Admits that he needs to get in shape for the upcoming "Dune" sequel. “I was with Javier at the Oscars, and Javier and I kind of like we just kinda showed each other our ponches.”  Remember when guys would just drink beer and compare lawns? The “Dune” sequel is due in theaters October of next year…

You may have heard that Willie Nelson likes to smoke a little smoke.  Okay, a LOT of smoke . . . and that's the key ingredient to this story from Tim McGraw  It happened one year at the CMAs.

As Tim tells it he and Willie were in an elevator with two cops and their police dog.  Things got a little tense there for a minute.  After the cops got off Willie joked that it must've been a "bomb dog" . . . as in, NOT a "drug-sniffing dog."

Remember Ted the foul-mouthed teddy bear? Word it there's going to be a "Ted" prequel series set in 1993 when the newness of a talking teddy bear has worn of and now it’s day to day with a 16 year old ‘John” who was played by Mark Wahlberg in the movies.  Seth Macfarlane is going to voice Ted again, and also write, direct, A release date hasn’t been announced yet but I can tell you ‘Ted’ is coming to Peacock.

Congratulation to Jamey Johnson last month he was informed that he was no longer going to be a guest at the Grand Ole Opry – that’s because Whispering Bill Anderson extended the invite to Jamey for him to become a member. Now we know that next month on May 14th Jamey will be inducted as the newest member of the Opry.

''Top Gun: Maverick'' is getting traction and director Joseph Kosinski tells Empire magazine that he shot 800 hours of footage for the film. Saying ''The sequel shot as much footage as the three ‘Lord of the Rings’ movies combined.  Out of a 12 or 14-hour day, you might get 30 seconds of good footage.  That’s what it took to get good aerial shots.  ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ after multiple delays since it’s original release date of July 2019 will finally be in theaters May 27^th.

Elon Musk is offering to buy Twitter for $43 billion, The billionaire and founder of electric car maker Tesla, who earlier this month disclosed he owns a 9.2% stake in Twitter, Saying the social media company "needs to be transformed as a private company." And believes free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning democracy. In a statement, Twitter said it has received Musk's offer and that its board "will carefully review the proposal."

Ready for a road trip??  CMA Fest is back after two long, Covid-canceled years.  It's going down June 9th through June 12th in downtown Nashville, with over 150 performers.  The big names on the Nissan stage include Luke Combs, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Thomas Rhett, Darius Rucker, Keith Urban, and Lainey Wilson. June 9 – 12^th in Nashville.

Yesterday we lost another comedian…Gilbert Gottfried passed after a long battle with recurrent ventricular tachycardia Myotonic Dystropia type II which a way of saying his heart rate was to fast.  His quick wit and strange unique voice made him a favorite to many and not such a favorite to some.  Best known for voicing Lago from the original ‘Aladdin’ and the Aflac duck, Gilbert Gottfried was 67.
