First, let’s talk about the Oscars…which were just “ho hum”…as I read..I didn’t watch it…unless you’re were REALLY jones’in for something to watch or you’re my uncle Milo who lives in Manitoba…"Everything Everywhere All at Once" won 7 of the 11 Oscars it was up for,  Host Jimmy Kimmel made several references to The Slap, and Brendan Fraser won Best Actor for "The Whale".

Carrie Underwood recently received a cake made out of 70 lb of cheese for her 40th birthday. She also got wine. She captioned pictures of her cake with:  "A 'cake' tower made entirely of cheese wheels & a lifetime's worth of wines starting at 1983… I feel understood..." It was kinda nice the pics making the rounds on social media.

The NY Post says Tiger Woods is worried his ex-girlfriend, Erica Herman, may ignore her non-disclosure agreement and reveal scandalous details about their relationship. Woods has to decide whether it’s worth paying so that this can go away. Or else, will he see her giving an interview to Dr. Phil?

While the Oscars recognize the BEST performances, let's take a look at the WORST with the 2023 Golden Raspberry Award winners. The winners of the 2023 Razzies include Tom Hanks and his latex makeup in "Elvis" for Worst Couple, "Blonde" for Worst Picture, and Jared Leto in "Morbius" for Worst Actor.

Tim McGraw just released his stirring new single, “Standing Room Only,” which is already inspiring a lot of people to examine their life. “When I heard this song the lyrics hit me right away. I mean, it’s just so well written. It’s more about life affirmation, just like ‘Live Like You Were Dying.’ It wasn’t about dying, it was about living. it’s about going out and living life to the fullest, you know, and trying to be the best person you can be.”  “Standing Room Only” is the title track for Tim McGraw’s next album, which he will release later this year.

The new Scream movie, "Scream VI", topped the weekend box office. Cinemark Theaters is selling special Scream popcorn buckets. The buckets look like Ghostface's mask and hood. People are already reselling the buckets online for $100. They originally cost $19 at theaters.

The 95th Academy Awards air this Sunday, this year it’ll cost $58.6 million to put on.  That includes $24,700 for the 50,000 square foot red carpet.  Last year's show was 220 minutes long . . . which is three hours and 40 minutes…last year’s Oscars is viewed as the second worst viewership and rating in the history of the Oscars.

Brett Young talks about how he got to choose the name for his child and it’s kinda smooth… "The only way to get my way is to not tell her what my favorite is. It’s like if she comes out and shows you a black dress and then comes out and shows you a red dress, and goes, ‘Which one do you like?’ If you want the red one, say you like the black one. Like that’s the way to do it.”  So he completely left it alone and two days later…they named their baby Rowan…which is exactly what he wanted…

Robert Blake, from "In Cold Blood" and "Baretta", died yesterday of heart disease. He's probably best known for being acquitted in the murder of his wife, and then losing a civil case against her family . . . just a few years after O.J. Simpson blazed that trail.  Robert Blake was 89 years old…and that’s the name of that tune….

Beetlejuice 2 is finally happening!!  There isn't an official word from Tim Burton or Warner Brothers yet, so don't get TOO excited. But multiple sources have told "The Hollywood Reporter" it's in the works.  Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder are supposedly returning as Beetlejuice and Lydia. And Jenna Ortega is in talks to play Lydia's daughter . . .

The Oscars are this weekend, and generally speaking, America has MORE than enough award shows.  But like it or not, we're getting another.  There will be a new one called "The People's Choice Country Awards" in September.  It's an off-shoot of "The People's Choice Awards", which are voted on by fans.  The new show will take place at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville and will air on NBC and Peacock.

Tim McGraw granted a dying man's wish to record a video of them singing a duet of "My Little Girl".  The man has two young daughters and now each of them will be able to play it at their wedding.

Tom Cruise might still realize his dream of shooting a movie in outer space . . . but he won't be the first person to do it.  The Russians beat him to it.  A Russian company shot a movie on the International Space Station.  It's called "The Challenge", and it's about a surgeon who has to perform heart surgery on a cosmonaut in space.  The actress and her director underwent rigorous training before blasting off.  It took them about 12 days to shoot, and they wrapped just a few months before Russia invaded Ukraine. It's due out in April.

Some of us have been pronouncing the 10th "Fast & Furious" title wrong this entire time.  "Fast X" is pronounced "Fast Ten" . . . NOT "Fast Ex".And it's actually meant to be a PUN.  Director Louis Leterrier said in an "Empire" interview that it's "Fast Ten" as in, quote, "fast ten your seatbelts. ""Fast X" hits theaters May 19th.

The "2023 CMT Music Awards" nominees were announced yesterday, and Lainey Wilson leads the pack with four nominations.  Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, and Kane Brown each have three.  Voting is open now at vote.cmt.com. The show airs April 2nd.

Yesterday we reported that two women got into a boxing match after watching a screening of Creed III in Paris…well…..Screen Rant now reports some independent movie theaters in France are refusing to show ''Creed III'' because audiences were fighting during the film over last weekend. One theatre had to deal with a mass brawl. Fights are also breaking out in German movie theaters.  So, now…they’re pulling the movie…

The NY Post says Chris Rock was open to calling a truce with Will Smith. A source tells the newspaper that Rock didn’t because Will never personally apologized to him for slapping him at the Oscars.. Will’s two public apologies were all about saving his own reputation. Will has not apologized to Chris Rock in person — and Chris isn’t expecting it.”

It hasn't even been a week and Morgan Wallen is breaking all sorts of records.  Billboard's Artist 100 list. Fresh off the release of his new mega album One Thing at a Time, the "You Proof" singer has reclaimed the No. 1 position, moving up from No. 3...No other country act has done this is quite some time. The only two other artists that have come close are Luke Combs and Jason Aldean who each spent three weeks on top.

Here’s someone we haven’t heard from in a while…Gene Hackman!!  He hasn't worked in almost 20 years, and he's rarely seen in public.  But he's still the BA he's always been. Someone snapped pictures of Gene . . . who's 93 years old . . . doing yard work at his ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  But first, he went on a Wendy's run and chowed down on a chicken sandwich and a Coke.

CMT's "Hot 20 Countdown" asked a bunch of country stars to name the weirdest thing fans have thrown at them on stage.  Thomas Rhett said a packet of breast milk . . . Jelly Roll said men's tighty-whities . . . and Hardy said a prosthetic leg, then he drank a BEER out of it.

Two big NFL rumors are going around.  Supposedly, Aaron Rodgers is interested in playing for the New York Jets, and Tom Brady is considering another unretirement to join the Miami Dolphins . . . which he's already denied.

The CMA Fest is celebrating its 50th year this June, and they're going big. The initial lineup has been announced, and it’s pretty much everyone you could think of. They include Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Jimmie Allen, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, and Lainey Wilson. How fired up can one get after a screening of a movie…well, “Creed III” is the number one movie at the box office right now…The Daily Mail says a couple ladies took it to another level…after a screening in France….They started boxing each other!!!  Some theatergoers crowded around them while others ran for the exit. No word on what sparked the brawl. The fight was quickly broken up.

Ireland Baldwin's baby shower went down over the weekend . . . at a strip club.  Ireland's 69-year-old mother Kim Basinger was there…if you’re wondering no cinematographers were harmed….
