In his new memoir, ''Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing'',  Matthew Perry writes that he and Cameron Diaz were fixed up in 2007 after she dumped Justin Timberlake. The couple was playing a game of Pictionary at a dinner party when Matthew flirted with Cameron. She went to punch his shoulder, but missed and ended up hitting him in the face…did she though…miss?

Lainey Wilson's new album "Bell Bottom Country" is out tomorrow.  She says the title means "country with a flare."  Her team put brightly-colored bell bottoms on a "bunch of mannequins located at Nashville's Music Row Roundabout.

Travis Denning said one of his "most proud AND embarrassed" Halloween costumes was when he went as Terry from "Reno 911".  “I had the roller skates the short-shorts, the tied-up shirt.  Looking back, it wasn't the manliest thing I ever did, but it got a lot of laughs and I think that year my favorite candy was Busch Light.”

American idols Katy Perry tells The Cut that she meditates her hangovers away. “I try to meditate in the morning if I didn’t get enough sleep or if my sleep was like an Imax movie — I use it for jet lag, hangovers, creativity. Sometimes, I just slip away for 20 minutes in the middle of the day.

The scariest horror movie villains of all time were calculated using the average number of kills and jump scares.  The top three are Michael Myers, the Werewolf from "An American Werewolf in London", and the creature from "The Grudge"….So uncle George from Pennsylvania didn’t make the list again this year.  But you’ll see him for Thanksgiving.

The actors on "Avatar: The Way of Water", worked with specialists to learn how to hold their breath for underwater scenes.  Zoe Saldana got to the point where she could hold hers for almost five minutes.  Sigourney Weaver did six and a half minutes . . . and Kate Winslet, always the overachiever, went SEVEN minutes without taking a breath…meanwhile Tom Cruise is over here like ‘Hold  my beer”…

Scotty McCreery's wife Gabi gave birth to their first child on Monday.  It's a boy named Merrick Avery McCreery.  Scotty posted pics and wrote, "Next to his mother, he is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.  Gabi was a total rock star during Avery's birth.  I could not be more proud of her."

The CMAs announced the first round of performers, and they include Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Morgan Wallen, Miranda Lambert, Hardy, Carly Pearce, Jimmie Allen, Kelsea Ballerini, and Zac Brown Band. They also announced that the show will OPEN with a "star-studded" tribute to Loretta Lynn.  I'm sure you'll see several of those performers take part in that.  "The 56th Annual CMA Awards" is airing November 9th on ABC.

Chase Bryant married model Selena Weber in a hilltop ceremony in Texas on Saturday.  The venue overlooked 30 miles of Texas Hill County.  For Selena's walk down the aisle, they had a string quartet perform "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis Presley play.

Will Smith held a private screening of his upcoming movie "Emancipation", and Dave Chappelle was there.  Which is interesting, because Dave is going on a co-headlining standup tour with Chris Rock. For the record, Chappelle has never really taken sides.  During a show in England, he said that Will, quote, "did an impression of a perfect man for 30 years."

Great news was announced yesterday for superhero and horror movie lovers: Two big movie returns were announced.  Henry Cavill is back as Superman after having a cameo in "Black Adam".  And Tobin Bell is back for another "Saw" movie as the Jigsaw Killer.  It doesn't have a title yet, but it's set to be out October 27th, 2023.  Kramer DIED in "Saw 3" in 2006, but has continued to appear in flashbacks in subsequent installments.  It's not clear how he'll be used in the next one.

Mitchell Tenpenny and Meghan Patrick got married on Sunday at a friend's farm in Tennessee.  They included nods to their families in the ceremony.  Meghan built the altar with her dad, and they used the cake topper from her grandparents' wedding.  Mitchell's high school football coach officiated.

The New “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania trailer has been released.  It looks pretty good, Paul Rudd is back as Scott Lang, Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne who plays the Wasp is back to take on Marvels next bad guy you can check out the trailer below!!  Also, there are whispers of a “secret” Star Wars movie in the works.

George Strait announced he's doing six stadium shows next summer, and he's bringing Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town along as openers!  The concerts are spread over four months, beginning in May, and wrapping in August. The Zac Brown Band canceled their show in Vancouver, Canada Friday after some crew members were denied entry at the border.  It was NOT because of Covid. "We're a family.  We stick together and support each other, and never leave anyone behind.  Apparently some of the crew had a record  decades ago that was cleared and that kept them from entering the country this time. The weird part is that the band has been performing regularly in Canada, including twice THIS year.

The NY Post says Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have allegedly hired divorce attorneys and are now ready to fight. A source tells the newspaper,  “Things are very nasty between Tom and Gisele because of the lawyers. Tom and Gisele are not battling over the kids, they both want joint custody. But it will take some time to divide their  wealth and property all over the world…Meanwhile the Buccaneers LOST to the Carolina Panthers yesterday 21 to 3...

There may be several reasons why Blake Shelton decided that next season would be his last on "The Voice".  But according to Radar.com, he did it because Gwen Stefani applied the pressure. "Gwen wants him to spend more time with her, so they can ensure a happy future together." The insider said his busy schedule has been an issue since the couple got married.  They can't even agree where to live.  They split time between Gwen's home in Encino, California . . . or Blake's ranch in Oklahoma.

Kenny Chesney was given an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from his alma mater, East Tennessee State University.  He graduated back in 1990 and participated in their bluegrass program and studied advertising.   He credits the school's music program for inspiring him to pursue country music as a career.  So, now we introduce him as Doctor Kenny Chesney….

There’s a "The Conjuring 4" is in the works. Channing Tatum posted a picture of Salma Hayek  in "Magic Mike's Last Dance". The season finale of "House of the Dragon" leaked online Friday, ahead of its Sunday premiere on HBO.

Alec Baldwin marked the first anniversary of "Rust" cinematographer Halyna Hutchins' death.  Poor taste? Maybe…the comments are somewhat mixed…more of what you would probably expect with one poster saying “Man you should turn the comments off this post.”
