The Oxford Mail says Tom Cruise's upcoming birthday party in the UK is allegedly going to cost $243,000. James Corden, Mission Impossible star Simon Pegg and David and Victoria Beckham are all on the guest list. Partygoers will enjoy food, drinks and accommodations. Tom turns 60 on Sunday.  Here I was just hoping for a day at Adventureland for MY birthday.

Miranda Lambert's Favorite time of year is summer and the 4^th of July… “I love holidays in general, but Fourth of July is…summer is my favorite time of year, so Fourth of July is probably one of my favorites because I…my favorite firework is sparklers. Luke Combs says there were many different people that really shaped his singing or taught him how to sing early on.  Vince Gill and Clint Black and Garth (Brooks) and stuff like that.  But surprisingly he says As he got to be 10, 11, 12, it was more like Boyz II Men, Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC kind of thing. Legendary and Warner Bros. announced new theatrical release plans for two of their high-profile films Thursday. Dune: Part Two is being pushed back less than a month from Oct. 20, 2023, to Nov. 17, 2023. That means the sequel will have the advantage of playing over the Thanksgiving holiday.  It also means it’ll face competition at the box office from Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes with also opens that weekend.  If you were a fan of Godzilla vs Kong…The next installment in the franchise will hit theaters March 15, 2024.

The BEST part of the 4^th of July other than food and friends has GOT to be fireworks but Brett Young says he didn’t like setting off fireworks when he was a kid  ... “I enjoyed watching them from afar. and I was like a very cautious, almost fearful kid. I was afraid that one was gonna blow up in my hand or something and so if we’d go to an event where I could watch from afar I was into to it, but I never wanted to be the one setting them off.”

Cameron Diaz is coming out of retirement to star in a new Netflix action comedy with Jamie Foxx titled "Back In Action". The two previously worked together in ''Any Given Sunday''. The movie's plot is being kept a secret.  Jamie had to coax her out of retirement,  so he got her on the phone with a friend of HIS that is used to coming out of retirement Tom Brady…and he gave her some tips on how to get back to work.

Chris Young says he’s looking forward to a much better July 4^th this year.. "Probably the thing that I’m most excited about for is just the Fourth of July itself. Obviously last year, no one really got a Fourth of July experience, and so, this year with things starting to open up, it looks like it's gonna be a lot of fun."

But reports are only that the Xfinity commercial that debuted during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is about as close as we’re going to get. Spotify is quietly testing a new Karaoke mode that cuts the vocals of a song so you can sing along.  Then it gives you an accuracy rating.  It's only being offered to some users now, so not everyone has it.  Spotify hasn't even announced it yet, Those who HAVE it will see a "sing" button in the corner of a song's icon.  If you push it, it cuts the vocals so only the music is playing, allowing you to sing along. If you don't have this feature, you can try updating that app.  If you still don't have it . . . well, you'll just have to hope they roll it out for everyone.

The 4^th of July is this Monday…do you have everything you need for the grill?  Thomas Rhett has a few favorites.  “I mean, steaks are kinda my go to, but I think if I was having like a Fourth of July party or something like that, makin’ smash burgers on the Traeger are my favorite thing in the world to do”. Burgers, Brats, and dogs….and the smell of gun powder in the air!!!

Woody Allen might retire after his next movie. During his Instagram Live chat with Alec Baldwin yesterday, saying “A lot of the thrill is gone because it doesn't have the whole cinema effect.  Adding, you would do a film and it would go to movie houses all over the country and people would come. "Now you do a movie and you get a couple of weeks in a movie house, and then it goes right to streaming or to pay per view . . it’s not the same it’s not as enjoyable to me."  This is terrible news for the seven people who even know that Woody still makes movies.

ABC says Garth Brooks plans to release ''Anthology 2: The Next Five Years''. The set will contain six CDs featuring his biggest hits and unreleased tracks. A 300-page picture book will also accompany. Garth says, “It’s like a music box [set] with killer liner notes. I just love it. There are a lot of cool stories.”

Luke Combs tells Billboard magazine that he is not raising his concert ticket prices even though inflation is soaring. “It’s going to cost me a lot, but all I wanted to do is make a living doing music, and I make enough money to not have to worry about anything and be really comfortable, so I don’t ever want to get greedy.. I didn’t get into it to be Jeff Bezos and be the richest guy in the world.”

A source tells the website,. I know corporate sent him a gift basket with a very heartfelt letter, but I`m unsure how it was received. But what I can tell you is that the studio has already penned up a draft for a film about Jack Sparrow -- so they are very hopeful that Johnny will forgive them and return as his iconic character"
