You know someone we haven’t seen or heard from in a while is Jack Nicholson…well a friend of his says Jack doesn't work anymore because, quote, "He's doing whatever he really wants to do.  He wants to be quiet.  He wants to eat what he wants.  He wants to live the life he wants." Which I’m sure means never missing a Lakers game.

Luke Combs says that if he wins any awards tonight, just know that whatever he says on stage is “in the moment, and from the heart” He NEVER writes acceptance speeches because he feels sometimes things get put in them that are disingenuous and are to please everyone. Eventually, we’re gonna be dropping ‘Shout out to Mountain Dew’ in there. It’s bad luck, he’s never done it and isn’t going to start now.

Before you engage your brain, Just roll out of bed, get on your bike and start riding the bike and work out and do something physical. "And then afterward you will feel much better about yourself and about the world, the way you look at the world.

The question was asked of Jason Aldean does it ever get old having a number one song…he tells the Los Angeles Times that it doesn't, this many years into his career and the fact that people still seem to be into what they’re doing — it’s a good feeling. Plus, Luke Bryan likes to hold it over his head that he’s got two more than Jason’s got. And that he’s just trying to catch him.

Jimmy Kimmel will announce "People" magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2023 on his show tonight.  Until then, here are some Sexiest Man Alive fun facts: In previous years there have been four two-time winners, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Johnny Depp, and Richard Gere.  And Kate Upton is the only winner of Sexiest WOMAN Alive to date. The Veteran's Day special "American Valor: A Salute to Our Heroes" returns on Saturday on all the major networks:  ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, and the CW.  Marine Corps vet Rob Riggle will return as host. The show pays tribute to service men and women from World War 2 to the present day.

We're going to be seeing a lot of Lainey Wilson on tomorrow's CMAs.  But her biggest moment may be when she performs "Wildflowers and Wild Horses". "It's gonna be fiery, it's gonna be fun, [there's] gonna be some magic in it and I'm excited for y'all to see it with your own eyes." She's up for nine awards, so the camera will be on her a lot.  Watch the CMA’s 6pm with your hosts Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning live from the Bridgestone Arena on ABC and HULU.

Matthew Perry was laid to rest Friday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles.

Not surprisingly, the other five "Friends". . . Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer . . . were all there.  On a more hopeful note, the Matthew Perry Foundation . . . which Matthew was planning to start before his death . . . launched on Friday.  Its mission, according to its new website, is to help people "struggling with the disease of addiction."

Blake Shelton will open his SIXTH Ole Red venue in Las Vegas in January . . . and he wants to be the first act to perform there.  He says, "I don't want anybody singing on this stage before I do.  I want to break it in." If you know Vegas, the place will be directly across from the Bellagio fountains.

"The Simpsons" is dropping one of its longest-running gags:  CHILD ABUSE. In an episode a few weeks ago called "McMansion & Wife", Homer and Marge meet a new neighbor.  When Homer shakes his hand, the guy comments on his strong grip. Homer says, quote, "See, Marge, strangling the boy paid off."  But then he adds, quote, "Just kidding, I don't do that anymore.  Times have changed."  (Here's video.) "The Simpsons" is in its 35th season.

Jordan Davis' "Next Thing You Know" is up for Single, Song, and Video of the Year at Wednesday's CMAs.  “My buddy woke me up and gave me the news. I mean, I was shocked. I did not expect to be up for three CMAs. This song has just really taken on a life of its own.” Adding he’s super grateful and humbled to have three nominations at the CMA and really excited to be a part of it and pumped to see if this song can bring home an award.

Not many of us are fans of Hollywood and you can add Miranda Lambert TO that list.  She tells the LA Times “I’m already very private and protective. And choosing the job I chose… I mean, I get on stage, I’m in front of people. But I didn’t choose random photos of moments when I wasn’t at work. TMZ has tried to come to Nashville three times, and we keep running them out. We’re like, ‘Nope, not here.’ It taught me that Hollywood is not anything I want to be part of.”

And finally, A low-budget flick called "Barbenheimer" is in the works.  It's about a doll scientist who visits the real world, sees how bad it is, and decides to build a nuclear bomb and blow it up…THIS is what we’ve come to…sounds like the latest Marvel Movies.
