One Country award show down…another one is on the way…The 2024 ACM Awards just announced all of their nominations. Luke Combs has the most with eight . . . and Megan Moroney and Morgan Wallen are tied with six. The show will air live May 16th from the Ford Center in Frisco Texas.

Sylvester Stalloneis being accused of creating a toxic environment on "Tulsa King", including calling the extras ugly. The director denies the whole thing. Season 2 is slated to come out this fall on Paramount + So, March or April of next year….

The internet had a lot of jokes about Morgan Wallen's chair throw on Sunday night. One of the best ones so far is the clip from "Mission Impossible" of Tom Cruise throwing a chair out a window . . . and it says, "Morgan Wallen after the Appletini hits."

Robert Downey Jr.says he'd happily return as Iron Man if he's ever asked. Quote, "It's too integral a part of my DNA. That role chose me. And look, I always say, never, ever bet against [Marvel president and producer] Kevin Feige. It is a losing bet . . ."He's the house. He will always win." Of course nothing is impossible when the multiverse is involved.

Country music star Morgan Wallen was arrested on felony charges after he allegedly threw a chair from the roof of ‘Chiefs Bar’ on Sunday night. Authorities reported the chair landed approximately three feet away from two officers. The officers reviewed video footage of the incident, which showed Wallen lunging and throwing an object over the roof, according to the arrest report. Officials said the rooftop sits six stories above Broadway.

What does Danny DeVito, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Keaton have in common…BATMAN!! People Magazine is reporting Danny is eager to reprise his role as The Penguin alongside Arnold as Mr. Freeze in a future Batman movie.

The CMT Music Awards went off without a hitch last night in Austin, Texas. Kelsea Ballerini did a great job hosting . . . and Jelly Roll dominated the awards once again.

The Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee at MCC recently created a new art exhibit. Amee Schmidt, the Chair of the DEIC, talks more about that.

This new exhibit is quite different from the past art galleries as it includes works from industrial arts rather than the typical art forms like paintings, drawings, and photography. The goal when putting up the new exhibit was to represent the diversity of MCC’s campus and to include all of the different artistic professions.

It has a large handcrafted podium constructed by lead faculty of construction, Jake Bennett, and his students.

She says that part of what makes the art featured in the gallery is amazing because one ‘doesn’t usually think of metal as being pretty.’ One example she mentioned is a handcrafted motorcycle made from pieces of metal from a gas line. The gallery will be is open at 8 AM to 9 PM every day of the week until April 12th. Many of the pieces are for sale, and the students of faculty members who made them will be the direct recipients of the funds.
