Big Bang Theory star Kate Micucci is recovering from lung cancer surgery, even though she's only 43, and has never smoked a cigarette. She says they caught it early and got it out. She added, quote, "I'll probably be moving slow for a few weeks, but then I'll be back at it." Kate played Lucy on "The Big Bang Theory", and Shelley on "Raising Hope".

Thomas Rhett is a pretty busy guy with four kids at home and a thriving music career, but it turns out he actually finds time to read, and he dives into some pretty heavy stuff. “I’m usually reading some sort of history about the Bible type book. Like, I’m reading a book right now called Jesus Through Middle Eastern Eyes, and it’s super in-depth, and will probably take me a year to finish. I wanna say the last fiction book I read, I think was Harry Potter, and that would’ve been, I don’t know, 20 years ago?”

George Clooney makes sure that he handles the cooking for his family, NOT his lawyer wife Amal. He says, quote, "She's one of the great advocates of the world, she takes on ISIS and all these things . . . but I better be doing the cooking, or we will all die." George will be cooking a "little Christmas turkey" for the holidays this year. He also made one for Thanksgiving.

Lainey Wilson and Hardy just wrapped up their tour together, and Lainey celebrated by surprising Hardy with a custom guitar. It has a mockingbird and a crow etched onto the top, as well as Hardy's name. Hardy had a gift for Lainey too. She opened an envelope and saw that he was putting her up at Blackberry Farm "for a few days." It's a luxury hotel and resort in Walland, Tennessee. I’ve always said the way to a woman’s heart sometimes is a good spa day…

Drew Barrymore loves Oprah. I mean I REALLY loves Oprah. And she proved it yesterday when she had Oprah on her show. During their chat, Drew basically cuddled up to Oprah on the couch and locked fingers with her. Then with her other hand, she started STROKING OPRAH'S ARM. Oprah didn't seem to think it was weird. But it made some viewers uneasy.

She has been teaching in the Des Moines Public School District for 33+ years and all of her students love her! She is amazing with all of her students and all of her staff members. All of her former students speak very, very highly of her. She isn't my mom but she is a mother figure to many of her students and former students! She is all around an amazing teacher!

Nominees for the 2024 Golden Globes were announced yesterday, and here's what's really important: Nicolas Cage got a nod!!! He's up for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for "Dream Scenario". . Barbie" and the TV show "Succession" have the most nods, with NINE apiece. The 81st Golden Globes. It's scheduled to go down Sunday, January 7th on CBS. There's no word yet on a host, several people have already TURNED IT DOWN. That includes Chris Rock. Yes, they actually asked Chris Rock to host an award show. Too soon, right?

Radio Iowa says Lainey Wilson has become the first female country artist to have four No. 1 hits in a single year. Her hits include "Heart Like A Truck" and "Watermelon Moonshine," as well as collaborations with HARDY and Jelly Roll. Wilson holds the record for the most No. 1 hits by a solo female country artist this decade.

The next James Bond film may have two actors playing the iconic role, one younger and one older. Producers are considering Oscar-nominated actor Paul Mescal to play the younger MI6 spy. He is starring in Ridley Scott's Gladiator sequel. Fans may have to wait until 2026 for the release of the next 007 film.

Cody Johnson is bringing his family's “Texas cowboy Christmas” to CMT this year through a new Christmas special. "CMT PRESENTS: A CODY JOHNSON CHRISTMAS" will air 9p/8c Wednesday, Dec. 13, on CMT. Johnson and his family invite you into their family traditions, share their favorite holiday memories and Cody will perform an assortment of Christmas songs.
