The Grand Ole Opry, it’s were every Country star hopes one day to perform…for Elvie Shane the FIRST time he got to get on stage there what was the FIRST thing he noticed…”I got up there and seen the circle, and I looked down at the wood.  You can see how the woods got’n concave, scuffed up and scared.  You know the only way the floor got that way,  was from 95 years with boots on it”  A few years ago, I got to tour the Grand Ole Opry..got to stand on that circle…if you ever go to Nashville this is a MUST stop for any country music fan…

Super Bowl 56 may still be several months away, but the calls to name Carrie Underwood as the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show performer are growing. Underwood on Sunday debuted the newest rendition of the Sunday Night Football theme song, "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night,", and her stunning performance is a clear sign for fans that she should take the halftime show stage. She is in her 9^th year with Sunday Night Football…

And speaking of football…could Aaron Rodgers be mulling over that gig over at Jeopardy?? They ARE still looking for a full time host…and Aaron didn’t have a strong start to the 2021 season. In the Green Bay Packers' loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, Rodgers completed just 15 of his 28 passes for 133 yards and two interceptions, It was one of the worst games of his career..so, the question is…I’ll take no longer MVP’s for 200 Aaron…..

Comedian Norm Macdonald has passed away yesterday from cancer.  He had been secretly battling it for the last decade, keeping it all very secret.  Norm Macdonald was 61 and will be missed…

Jameson Rodgers and Luke Combs are good buddies so it wasn’t very hard to get Luke to join Jameson  On His Song, 'Cold Beer Calling My Name'  "Me and Luke became buddies in 2016 and started writing songs and fast forward a couple years later and he asked me to go out on tour with him. Around the same time, I was in the studio cutting “Cold Beer Calling My Name” and just thought it would be cool to have a feature on my first album and so it made sense I hit him up and he said yes." The Daily Mail says filming on Indiana Jones 5 is in jeopardy because 50 crew members have contracted the Norovirus.  A source tells the newspaper, ''The crew have been dropping like flies. There's also a lot off with Covid, so it's been a double whammy.  Luckily that doesn't include the big stars.'' They’re to busy getting injured being almost 80 trying to be 20….

The team is valued at $4 billion which is 2% of Jeff's net worth. That's the same as the average American family spending $2,500 on something. Brobible says Jeff could buy every NFL team and still have $90 billion left over

So, where were YOU when the world stopped turning…ME? I was in the Quad Cities working at a radio station watching Good Morning America when they broke in…

For Travis Denning...It was really scary  "My grandmother picked me up and took me to his house. As soon as he turned on the TV every channel had it on. And I'm like, my mom is in D.C. She’s at the Pentagon, and the Pentagon was attacked and we couldn’t get ahold of my mom. Y' know, we couldn’t get ahold of her for a while, so…it’s weird. It’s still kinda like, makes me…Yeah, we get it…still hard to talk about…

And Alan Jackson THAT song…I remember watching him perform it on the CMA’s that year…“It was a tough performance for me. I hadn’t really sung the song much, first of all. It was just in the studio, basically, and when I wrote it…so it’s hard to go out there and sing something new anyway, and just the topic made it nerve-wracking, too. You know, I didn’t think about what was going to happen or anything – we just sang it. And I just remember, other than being relieved that I got through it, I just felt very proud that it seemed to cause a reaction in people…and I was proud that I got to do it, and that it seemed like it meant something.”  How he got through it I don’t know….

Tom Cruise resumed filming Mission Impossible 7 yesterday in London. The Daily Mail says he parachuted out of a helicopter and into a field. A car rushed to pick Tom up to take him to his next shooting location. Meanwhile Top Gun has been pushed back again to the spring…

We Got This Covered claims Scarlett Johansson is allegedly willing to settle her Black Widow lawsuit with Disney for $100 million. She is suing the house of mouse because they put her movie on Disney+ and THAT hurt her earnings, ScarJo was paid $20 million up front and could have made another $50 million had Black Widow been released exclusively in theaters.
