And a lot of times I’ve gotten to take home a really cool birthday present in form of a CMA award. So, but more than that, I’m just happy to be part of the community and part of the country music family and you know, after doing this for so many years, still being able to be nominated and go and be part of it and see a lot of my friends and see performances it just it never gets old. Luke Combs has been nominated for CMA Entertainer Of The Year ... "Being nominated for Entertainer of the Year I mean anytime is, you know is unbelievable and something you never think whatever happened and yet here you are. So it’s the top award in our, in our business and our genre you know so I think you know everybody that gets nominated wants to win I know I would love to win at some point and if that’s this year, five years from now and I know but just being nominated is is awesome and something that I definitely don’t take for granted." The 2021 CMA Awards air tomorrow, 7pm on ABC.

Deadline Hollywood reports Alec Baldwin wants police officers on movie sets to monitor weapons safety. He posted;  “Every film/TV set that uses guns, fake or otherwise, should have a police office on set, hired by the production, to specifically monitor weapons safety.” Isn’t that why they have weapons masters on set?  Asking for a friend…

Great news for fans of the Netflix show Squid Game…After becoming Netflix's biggest original series of all time, Squid Game has reportedly been renewed for a second season. At an event celebrating the show in Los Angeles, the creator confirmed that the massively popular South Korean series will return for a second season on the platform and is already in the planning process.

Welcome to The List, today we take a look at the “Story Behind The Song” and today it’s Old Dominion’s hit ‘I Was On A Boat That Day’ Old Dominion's Brad Tursi fills us in. "This song actually the title is one that we’ve had for many years, we had the title the same time we were right and break up with him and got brought up and put down over the years. And finally, when we went to Asheville to make this next batch of songs, we told the title to Shane and Josh and they loved it. So we ended up finally writing it and it’s just about, you know, a little heartbreak song about a guy who’s not really heartbroken in this particular moment cuz he’s on a boat and he’s having fun and I’ll deal with the rest tomorrow." Sounds like a good plan some days!!

Dierks Bentley says he would like to win Male Vocalist of the Year at the CMA Awards on Wednesday.  He’s been NOMINATED a few times like 12 times!!  He’s super grateful for each one…but he’s starting to feel a little like the Susan Lucci of Male Vocalist nominations…The CMA Awards air Wednesday at 7pm on ABC.

It looks like Vin Diesel is willing to put the “feud” he has with The Rock aside to film the “Fast and the Furious 10” movie.  He posted to Instagram Sunday to publicly express his wishes for Johnson to reprise his role as Agent Lucas Hobbs in the next film, expected to be the first of a two-part franchise finale. Posting in part -  ‘’My little brother Dwayne... the time has come. The world awaits the finale of Fast 10.  I hope that you rise to the occasion and fulfill your destiny.’’  A little creepy…but will Hobbs return? Fast and the Furious 10 is set for a 2023 release date.

OK! magazine claims Jennifer Lopez is ready for Ben Affleck to propose. A source tells the magazine, “J.Lo feels enough time has passed and that there’s no reason for Ben to dillydally. She wants Ben to hurry up and put a ring on it and she’s not shy about dropping hints!” wow…be scared be very scared….

Today we kick off The List with a hugh announcement from Thomas Rhett He’s planning TWO New Albums ... So, ‘Slow Down Summer’ will be the first single off the next project called ‘Where We Started’ and it’s going to come out early 2022 and then next fall, we’re gonna put out ‘Country Again Side B’ ‘Slow Down Summer’ is available now, Thomas will be one of the performers at the CMA Awards November 10^th.

Walker Hayes recently on Taste of Country Nights podcast and was asked about his viral hit ‘Fancy Like’ and if he shopped it to Applebee’s or did, THEY come to him and this is what he told Evan Paul from the show. “Well, we kinda reached out to them early on but the song hadn’t started driving sales and people to the restaurant.  But, in like two weeks later they called us and told us the song was driving people to the restaurant so lets team up.” I wonder if he eats free when he goes in there now…

They’ll join Jimmie Allen and Chris Lane to represent country music with floats, marching bands and in-person crowds lining the streets of New York City

The 2021 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is set to take place on Thanksgiving Day starting at 10AM on NBC with live streaming available via Peacock.

Tis the season for holiday album announcements, and we all know the season just wouldn’t be the same without the smooth vocals of Mr. Christmas himself, Brett Eldredge.  He solidified himself as an integral part of the holiday season with the release of his 2016 Christmas album, Glow, and is spreading more Christmas cheer this year with a brand-new project, Mr. Christmas!  Between HIM and Mariah Carey…I think we’re covered for Christmas music.

Everyone knows and loves Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, but she's getting downright evil for her next role. Deadline reports that she has been cast as the Evil Queen in Disney's live-action adaptation of Snow White. It was previously announced that Rachel Zegler was cast as Snow White. Production on the movie is reportedly to start sometime in 2022. Although, an exact start date has yet to be revealed.

This week, I talked about Carol Baskin’s refusal to be a part of the Tiger King sequel today it’s Joe Exotics turn…The big cat collector shared with his 367,000 followers that he has been diagnosed with an "aggressive cancer." Exotic didn't specifically say the name of his cancer but he mentioned that he recently had a prostate biopsy performed and his attorney confirmed the diagnosis.
