You probably wouldn’t believe it to HEAR it but Walker Hayes says he was inspired by a very special person the gospel side of Randy Travis. “I notice that set him apart for me. But really just that identifiable voice. Yeah, I just love the guys voice and his demeanor was very calm to me and his music was. So, yeah love the guy.”

Entertainment Tonight says Sam Hunt and Hannah Lee Fowler are the proud parents of a new baby girl named Lucy Lu. Sam was performing at the Ryman when he said, “I recently had a baby girl named Lucy Lu. I think being out here, and in the music business and being out on the road, has sort of hardened my heart. My heart’s definitely a lot harder in a lot of ways since I left that small town. It’s amazing how that little girl melted that all away overnight a couple of weeks ago.”

Paramount Pictures CEO Brian Robbins was recently doing an interview with Variety magazine when he joked about making a third Top Gun movie. ''Let’s see where we are 35 years from now. I don’t want to speculate. This is an incredible run. The sky is the limit for this movie.''

Kid Rock tells Fox News that he is open to running for a political office. "One day, if I ever thought – if I was bored, sitting around – really thought I could serve my county and help them out, stir things up a little bit and do what’s right, I’d have to take a hard look at it"

Aaron Rodgers says he "definitely" plans to retire as a Green Bay Packer.  He also recently said the end could be near.  Quote, "The older you get, the interests change, and the grind, I think, wears on you a little more."

If you were a fan of the ‘Joker” movie…you’ll be happy to hear The team behind it is ready to laugh it up once again, with filmmaker Todd Phillips officially confirming he has completed a script for a sequel to his Oscar-winning 2019 film. Phillips shared a picture of Joaquin Phoenix reading a copy of the new script.

Parmalee Star Matt Thomas says they weren’t always called Parmalee “About the time we turned twelve, we wanted some guitars to start playing music. Next thing I know our little cousin Barry I see him playing drums. So, we started this band called Jerry Thomas and the Thomas Brothers Band.” Matt and the boys will be at Arnold Park Iowa at the Roof Garden Ballroom June 23rd.

The Predator will not just go away….The trailer for the new Predator movie, "Prey". has been released. It's a prequel set 300 years ago, with Native Americans fighting a Predator. The two-minute preview for the film, which will premiere on Hulu on Aug. 5, teases the Comanche Nation 300 years in the past fighting against a Predator.

LANCO has revealed the dates of their Low Class Lovers Tour.  It launches June 16th in North Lawrence, Ohio and wraps October 22tn in Colorado Springs.  Hit up the Lanco Facebook page for details. Do country artists space-out while they're performing?  Of course.  Somebody asked Lady A's Dave Haywood about it and he said most of the time he's focused on the task at hand, but every once in a while . . .it’s all about the Chick-Fil-A backstage…then he snaps back. You kinda drift in and out.  So maybe next time you see them…take a Chick-Fil-A bag…Dave may just say HOWDY!

You better go see Top Gun: Maverick while you can, a copyright lawsuit is seeking to have "Top Gun: Maverick" pulled from theaters.  The original film was based on a magazine story, and the heirs of the writer say they've regained the rights to that story, so the sequel is unauthorized….with a domestic box office take of over $900 Million globally after five weeks, I think you can pay out a little bit.

Matthew McConaughey supports the Second Amendment, but believes in common sense reform because, quote, "Business as usual isn't working."  He's advocating for things like universal background checks and red flag laws.  Something tells me he’s not going to do so well in Texas.

We should probably get used to seeing Kenny Chesney posing with NFL stars as he hits the stadiums on his ‘Here and Now’ Tour.  He performed at AT&T Stadium in Texas on Saturday and posted pics of himself on stage with Cowboys' quarterback Dak Prescott and coach Mike McCarthy.

Neve Campbell will not be in "Scream 6" due to a pay dispute.  Saying she felt the offer that was presented to her did not equate to the value she’s brought to the franchise.  This will be the first "Scream" movie she's not in. Filming could get underway very soon with a projected release date of March 2023.

 Kacey Musgraves says she encountered hostile behavior from an American Airlines employee on a recent flight.  She shared the story on social media, saying she felt "unsafe and upset to the point of crying."  The airline heard about it and told "Billboard" they've reached out to Kacey.

Joe Don Rooney has pleaded guilty from last year's DUI arrest.  He'll spend 48 hours in jail, starting THIS Wednesday.  He's also required to complete DUI training,   and will lose his driver’s license.  He can apply for a special restricted license if he installs an "ignition device" on his car.

Alan Jackson has pulled out of performing at this year's CMA Fest.  No reason was given, but everyone is speculating that it's related to his degenerative nerve condition.  According to reports, he IS scheduled to do his Knoxville, Tennessee show on June 25th

A guy who released a song called "All I Want for Christmas Is You" five years before Mariah Carey is suing her for $20 million.  There's nothing similar about the songs at all except for the title.  There are A LOT of songs that have same titles, so it's not clear if he's got a case.

"Spider-Man: No Way Home" and "Euphoria" won Best Movie and Best Show, respectively, at last night's "MTV Movie and TV Awards".  Jack Black was named Comedic Genius, and Jennifer Lopez got the Generation Award.

The Rock surprised his mom over the weekend with a new house.  He spent eight weeks designing it and filled it with special items like photos of their ancestors, a vintage ukulele collection, and a new "Smackdown Room" to display memorabilia of his, like WWE belts and posters.

Well, it takes a lot of patients from his teacher…”Lela and I just did that for fun.  She loves it, she loves to dance.  She teaches me, she’s very patient with me, it takes me longer to learn them and she learns them so fast.” I think they’re up to three dances now.  I’m still trying to learn the first one.

Seth MacFarlane talks to Kelly Clarkson about his upcoming television series based on his movie, 'Ted'. I loved the movies, so what got him to do a TV show? “Well, it helped that the studio asked,  it’s a prequel and takes place in 1993. So, we’re kinda digging back into the pop culture of that era.”   Even though no premier date has been announced it looks like it will be picked up by the Peacock streaming network.

A change.org is at it again…..THIS time it’s a petition has been started to get Johnny Depp's lawyer, Camille Vasquez, to replace Amber Heard in ''Aquaman 2''. The petition reads, "Although Amber is a 'credible' actor and has actually demonstrated it on many occasions, not just in films or 'perhaps' on the stand. If Camille is half the actor she is as a lawyer this will be an absolute blockbuster of a film." Please someone stop this ride…I want off….
