Faith Cracks Tim! - Tim McGraw tells People magazine that Faith really slaps him on their TV show ''1883''. Saying they had this scene where she has to slap him. He was expecting a finger slap but it was a paw to the jaw,” he added. “There was 25 years of pent-up aggression going on! When you see it on screen, you realize it was a genuine hit.”

Blake Shelton’s music could put your baby to sleep!  Some of his biggest songs are being made into lullaby renditions.  A company called Rockabye Baby has put together a collection of Blake's music that will be out on February 4th.  If your little one isn't a fan of Blake's, there’s other artists to choose from, Dolly Parton, Miranda Lambert, Johnny Cash, and Shania Twain.

They say these things happen in three’s, well, we have our number three…Betty White, Sidney Poitier and now Bob Sagat is gone.  He was in Orlando for several comedy shows and was found in his hotel room over the weekend unresponsive.  He was the host of “Funniest Home Videos”…played ‘Danny Tanner’ the dad on “Full House”.  The cause of death has not been released Bob Sagat was 65

Dustin Lynch ALMOST wasn’t a country music star.   He tells Entertainment Tonight he had a major in biology and chemistry and got into med school and told his parents he wanted to at least give music a legit shot before he went and chased that. They didn’t like it but it worked out.

Oscar-winning Bahamian actor and former ambassador Sir Sidney Poitier has reportedly died.  Sidney Poitier was the first Black man to win the Academy Award for Best Actor. He was also the first Bahamian actor to do so. Known for MANY movies over the years To Sir, with LoveGuess Who's Coming to Dinner, and In the Heat of the Night. Sir Sidney Poitier was 94.

Leonardo DiCaprio is receiving an honor from London's Royal Botanic Gardens they’ve named a new tree species after him.  The Uvariopsis DiCaprio, aka Leonardo 'Tree' Caprio, It’s an evergreen with large yellow and green flowers that is found in the forest.  The tree is endangered. But Leo’s carrier is not…his latest movie “Look Up” is one of the top movies playing NOW on Netflix.

Morgan Wallen's 2021 album Dangerous; The Double Album finished out the year as the no. 1 streamed album across all genres among Billboard's charts. Despite being arguably one of country music's most controversial figures over the last year or so.  Morgan is spinning up his “Dangerous Tour” that kicks off at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana February 3rd, and will bring him through the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines April 29th.

A new year means new resolutions and superstitions and traditions.  Penelope Cruz talks to Ellen about HER New Year's tradition of eating 12 grapes in 12 seconds. “We eat 12 grapes, for New Years Eve in the last 12 seconds.  Some people say you ask for one wish for each grape, for others it’s more of a superstition thing.” Penelope Cruz stars with Lupita Nyong’o and Jessica Chastain in a new movie called ‘The 355’ in theaters NOW with an opening take of $350,000 since opening night last night.

Jimmie Allen knows all to well…so, what happened to him? “My jeans split one time like from the back, top of the butt crack to the all the way around to the zipper.  I had my pizza underwear on, I wasn’t embarrassed it just happens I performed the rest of the show with split jeans.” The show must go on!!

Speaking of COVID - Hoda Kotb has tested positive for COVID-19. The Today show kicked off this morning with Craig Melvin revealing that Kotb has tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19. Kotb, a long-time staple of the NBC morning show, is vaccinated and has received her booster shot. Amid her positive diagnosis, she will isolate at home, it was confirmed.

Everyone is looking forward to a positive 2022…Chris Stapleton is looking to go on the road as well as Jordan Davis with Dierks Bentley early in the new year and Jon Pardi? He’s looking forward to new music if he could just…get…to it…"We haven’t had no time to work on it because I’ve (only) been home about two or three days for the past three months, it seems like, and I haven’t been writing. I’ve been doing nothing but touring. So, I’m gonna get some songwriting in and finish this album.” He sounds a little frustrated…

Zac Brown has a unique way of working out.  Telling GQ magazine that he does it while playing video games. Saying he’s got an overactive brain, so he had to figure out some way that he could do cardio. So, he set up his Arc Trainer right in front of his PlayStation and play’s ‘Madden’.  The time slips by fast—mentally, he’s going to play football; and doesn’t even think about working out…. maybe have to try that…

Producer Steve Boettcher says Betty White recorded a tribute to her fans 10 days before she passed. He tells Entertainment Tonight that the greeting will most likely appear in Betty's upcoming movie, ‘Betty White: A Celebration’. saying “It was kind of a tribute to her fans that were going to be with her at the event.  ‘Betty White: A Celebration’, in theaters one night only on Betty’s 100th birthday January 17th you can see it at Movies 12 in Ames, Cinemark in Altoona and Jordan Creek 20 in Des Moines.

A little something for the beer drinker and Dallas Cowboys fans in 2022.  Fox NFL announcer Troy Aikman is releasing a new beer in February called Eight. The healthy beer is made with organic grains, antioxidant hops and no sugar. The beer only has 90 calories BUT will NOT help you throw a fifty yard pass into a trash can.  Although you may THINK you can after a few of them.

He’s putting down the shield and putting on his dancing shoes…Captain America Chris Evans is reportedly going to play legendary actor Gene Kelly the iconic musical movie star of ‘Singin’ in the Rain’.  Just weeks after another Marvel Studios star Tom Holland (Spider-Man) confirmed he was going to make a movie about Fred Astaire.  No studio is attached to it yet, but the script is in development.

The final season of “This Is Us” returns tonight, Sterling K. Brown who plays Randal explains with all the emotional ups and down his character has faced what a “happy ending” for Randal would look like on the show. “He fights so much within himself, is he enough. I just want him to know he belongs wherever he is, is what I call ‘happiness for Randal’ “This Is Us” returns for it’s final season tonight on NBC

NBC says the 'Betty White Challenge' is trending online. The challenge calls for people to donate $5 to animal shelters on what would have been White's 100th birthday on January 17th. The challenge reads: “Make her 100th birthday the movement she deserves.”

Director James Gunn tweeted "My friend David Hasselhoff and I have discussed doing a modern continuation of Knight Rider many times. The primary hurdle has been there aren’t enough hours in the day to do all the cool things I want to do!"
