One person's phobia is another's passion.  That describes Thomas Rhett's family.  He's been afraid of horses his whole life, while his wife Lauren grew up around them, and loves them.  She takes their kids riding several days a week, so Thomas decided to face his fears.  He shared a video of himself the other day walking alongside a horse on a dirt road, and then riding it in a corral, with the help of a trainer.

Tom Hanks has written his first novel.  It's called "The Making of Another Motion Picture Masterpiece", and it's due out in May of next year. It's about the making of, quote, "a colossal, star-studded, multimillion-dollar superhero action film," Tom says "Every character in the book does something I've experienced while making a movie, as well as discovered a philosophy, mistake that I survived or learned an important lesson.

Luke Combs posted a bunch of photos on Monday of what he did over the weekend. But the first pic is the best.  He and his crew are celebrating at a roulette table because he put it all on Black, and the wheel landed on Black 17. He summarized it in the caption, "The boys were on a heater this weekend.  Killer shows in Lake Tahoe, some good golf, and one high stakes roulette roll made for some lifelong memories with the band and crew."

Rob Zombie’ ‘Munsters’ re-boot is streaming now on Netflix.  He wasn't allowed to make his "Munsters" movie black-and-white like the TV show… Although I think we would have all been happier if that sentence had ended with "The Munsters"….I’m a fan of the original..I couldn’t tell you what he was thinking when he made this.

The List for Tuesday, September 27th 2022

Welcome to The List,

Carrie Underwood is good at social media.  She loves to share interesting pics and videos about her career, plus fun stuff she does with her family.  She'll probably do it forever too, and here's why. She decided a long time ago to stay away from the negativity. "I love to put things out there, I love to follow people, I love to see what they're up to, I love to tell people what I'm up to, but I don't read comments that's one of the best things I could've ever done.  I might see the top ones from people I know.  But after that, I don't need to know.  I'm doing my thing.  I'm having a great time. "If I posted a picture of it, it's because I'm proud of it or I liked it, or I was having fun while I was doing it.  And I don't necessarily need to know what everybody thinks about it."

-----

If you have Peloton, there's a new episode of Ashton Kutcher's "Our Future Selves" series on the app today, which will feature Kenny Chesney.  Together, they'll "run" to Kenny's biggest hits.  Ashton is training to run a marathon.   Speaking of Kenny, he has sold just under 1.3 million tickets to his "Here and Now" tour.  That broke 14 personal records and placed him at #7 on Pollstar's third quarter recap, raking in more than $114.4 million.

-----

Martina McBride announced the dates for her 12th annual Christmas tour.  It kicks off the Saturday after Thanksgiving in North Carolina.  She said it's the best version of the show yet.  Presale tickets go on sale today with the general sale on Friday. The tour brings her through Cedar Falls December 10th.

-----

The NY Post says Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen's marital issues are not related to football. A source tells the newspaper,  “The problems are not due to his decision to play football again — sometimes things are complicated.”…well at least all of the iPads were safe last Sunday when they lost to the Packers….

-----

Christian Bale tells Indiewire that he had to isolated himself from Chris Rock on the set of their upcoming movie ''Amsterdam''.  Because as he says Chris is to darn funny…adding David (the director) didn’t ask me to make this film so he could just watch me giggle. He wants me to be Burt, and I’m forgetting how to be Burt”.

-----

Jennifer Lopez's ex, Alex Rodriguez, was doing an interview with Chris Wallace for HBO Max when Chris asked, if he thinks he’s husband material or honestly, just like the chase?” Alex responded, “I’m glad I’m not ever going to be a presidential candidate ‘cause you would hammer me.” good way to avoid the question…
