Will Smith held a private screening of his upcoming movie "Emancipation", and Dave Chappelle was there.  Which is interesting, because Dave is going on a co-headlining standup tour with Chris Rock. For the record, Chappelle has never really taken sides.  During a show in England, he said that Will, quote, "did an impression of a perfect man for 30 years."

Great news was announced yesterday for superhero and horror movie lovers: Two big movie returns were announced.  Henry Cavill is back as Superman after having a cameo in "Black Adam".  And Tobin Bell is back for another "Saw" movie as the Jigsaw Killer.  It doesn't have a title yet, but it's set to be out October 27th, 2023.  Kramer DIED in "Saw 3" in 2006, but has continued to appear in flashbacks in subsequent installments.  It's not clear how he'll be used in the next one.

Mitchell Tenpenny and Meghan Patrick got married on Sunday at a friend's farm in Tennessee.  They included nods to their families in the ceremony.  Meghan built the altar with her dad, and they used the cake topper from her grandparents' wedding.  Mitchell's high school football coach officiated.

The New “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania trailer has been released.  It looks pretty good, Paul Rudd is back as Scott Lang, Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne who plays the Wasp is back to take on Marvels next bad guy you can check out the trailer below!!  Also, there are whispers of a “secret” Star Wars movie in the works.

George Strait announced he's doing six stadium shows next summer, and he's bringing Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town along as openers!  The concerts are spread over four months, beginning in May, and wrapping in August. Welcome to The List,

The Zac Brown Band canceled their show in Vancouver, Canada Friday after some crew members were denied entry at the border.  It was NOT because of Covid. "We're a family.  We stick together and support each other, and never leave anyone behind.  Apparently some of the crew had a record  decades ago that was cleared and that kept them from entering the country this time. The weird part is that the band has been performing regularly in Canada, including twice THIS year.

The NY Post says Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have allegedly hired divorce attorneys and are now ready to fight. A source tells the newspaper,  “Things are very nasty between Tom and Gisele because of the lawyers. Tom and Gisele are not battling over the kids, they both want joint custody. But it will take some time to divide their  wealth and property all over the world…Meanwhile the Buccaneers LOST to the Carolina Panthers yesterday 21 to 3...

There may be several reasons why Blake Shelton decided that next season would be his last on "The Voice".  But according to Radar.com, he did it because Gwen Stefani applied the pressure. "Gwen wants him to spend more time with her, so they can ensure a happy future together." The insider said his busy schedule has been an issue since the couple got married.  They can't even agree where to live.  They split time between Gwen's home in Encino, California . . . or Blake's ranch in Oklahoma.

Kenny Chesney was given an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from his alma mater, East Tennessee State University.  He graduated back in 1990 and participated in their bluegrass program and studied advertising.   He credits the school's music program for inspiring him to pursue country music as a career.  So, now we introduce him as Doctor Kenny Chesney….

Some quick movie news…The Rock's"Black Adam" won the box office with a $67 million opening weekend. There’s a "The Conjuring 4" is in the works. Channing Tatum posted a picture of Salma Hayek  in "Magic Mike's Last Dance". The season finale of "House of the Dragon" leaked online Friday, ahead of its Sunday premiere on HBO.

Alec Baldwin marked the first anniversary of "Rust" cinematographer Halyna Hutchins' death.  Poor taste? Maybe…the comments are somewhat mixed…more of what you would probably expect with one poster saying “Man you should turn the comments off this post.”

'Coal Miner’s Daughter: A Celebration of the Life and Music of Loretta Lynn' will air live Oct. 30 with George Strait, Keith Urban, Wynonna and more paying tribute to the late icon.  The special will air live and commercial free on CMT at 6 p.m. from Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry. Lynn, 90, died at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, on Oct. 4.

Kevin Spacey got a quick victory in court yesterday, when a civil jury took a little over an hour to decide he did NOT sexually assault fellow actor Anthony Rapp when he was underage in 1986.  Rapp was seeking $40 million in damages. Spacey didn't speak to reporters after the verdict, but his attorney said, quote,  "That there was no truth to any of the allegations."

Tom Brady denied speculation that he might re-retire before the end of the season.  He said, quote, "I love the sport, I love the teammates, and I want to go do a good job for this team like I always have.  So, no retirement in my future." ..well, he better get on it The Tampa Bay  Buccaneers are 3 & 3 so far this season and it cost him his marriage…

It looks like we're going to have some Christmas music from Thomas Rhett.  He posted a clip of himself listening to a song, and saying, "You know that sounds like?  A warm fire.  Christmas-time baby."  And then his voice ON the song launches into the first two words of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas".

Jimmie Allen shared a video of himself listening to an unreleased song.  He's mouthing the lyrics as it plays, and the caption explains the rest.  Quote, "Got something new with my guys Cheat Codes dropping soon."  Stay on the video to see Jimmie's eight-year-old son Aadyn jump into his lap.  You can watch the video below....

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is threatening to place an ancient curse on Gordon Ramsay if he doesn't remove octopus from his restaurant menus.  The 'Octocurse' painfully turns any human who kills, cooks, or consumes octopuses into a cephalopod, which is a marine Mollusk with tentacles So, there's another reason never to eat seafood…

Friends star Matthew Perry gets candid about his drug use . . . and how it almost killed him . . . in his upcoming book "Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing".  In a new interview with "People", he says he almost DIED when his colon burst due to opioid abuse four years ago.  At one point Matthew was taking 55 Vicodin a day, season 9 was the only year he was sober all the way through. His book comes out in November.

One of the few bad things about "Cobra Kai" is that Mr. Miyagi isn't a part of it.  But they're not done telling his story . . . because a prequel series centered on him is in the works. Ralph Macchio says, "It's in the discussion stages . . . It's a project that I'm cheering for personally, because [Pat Morita] always wanted to do more with where Miyagi came from, so that would be wonderful to see that realized."

Congratulations to Chris Lane the ‘Take Back Home Girl’ singer and his wife Lauren have welcomed their second child.  Lauren posted an update on social media saying that a baby boy arrived on Sunday, and they shared video of him meeting his older brother Dutton, who's 16 months old.  There's no word on the baby's name.

Garth Brooks finally got inked…He spent the first 60 years of his life with NO tattoos.  Then he went to Ireland last month and got all inked up!! Fulfilling a promise he made to his daughter Allie back in 2014.  Garth says ‘I have the five women of my life.  My mom, Miss Yearwood, and my three daughters.’

Blake Shelton is going to film his new USA Network game show, Barmageddon, at his Nashville bar, Ole Red. Carson Daly and Nikki Bella are going to co-host the show. Sheryl Crow, Elle King, Trace Adkins, Chris Young and Kane Brown will compete on it.

The Rock tells Turner Classic Movies that he cries every time he watches Mel Gibson's movie, ''Braveheart.'' “I watched that movie about a month ago. Got “misty-eyed.” I have in my possession the sword that Mel Gibson uses in Braveheart. It is a massive sword, and one of the few that a Scottish blacksmith and his family, generational blacksmiths, have been commissioned to make that sword from the Wallace family.”
