-----

Did you know, Carrie Underwood has a fear of turtles? Because they are the ones that BIT her the most…”I grew up in the country, Turtles were the easiest thing to catch. I love animals so much that I feel like I would always try to hug them or pet them.  That lead to them taking opportunities, I’ve been bit by lots of Turtles it does NOT feel good.” Ok, don’t pet Turtles, got it.

-----

There's been a story going around that the "Barbie" movie used so much pink paint that it caused a worldwide shortage.  That's not exactly true, but they DID use A LOT of florescent pink paint.

-----

Luke Combs tells Esquire magazine that he would give up his career for his family. “I love what I do and I love my fans, but I would give it up in a heartbeat if my family asked me to. I wouldn't hesitate. They are my life." Where as Dan + Shay star Shay Mooney says he can't live without his phone. “I gotta have my phone. Golf Clash and Clash Royale are super addicting games. I don’t play them at home because they’re distracting for my family, but I play them all the time on the road.”

-----

The Daily Mail says Chris Rock recently called the New York police after he saw a Peeping Tom staring into his home. The guy was standing on Chris' fire escape and may have had a camera. The peeper took off in a getaway car after Chris saw him. He was wearing pink Crocs. Will Smith will do anything to apologize to Chris Rock…

-----

Jon Pardi tells Music Mayhem magazine that he likes to name his animals after famous people. He named their goats Garth and Trisha when they first got ’em. He thought it’d be funny. They also named their four cats the Kat-dashians. Yeah, they’re a little weird." So if you are having problems naming your fur baby…I know someone that can help.

The List for Monday, June 5th 2023

Welcome To The List,

Yellowstone is such a hit for Kevin Costner, what do you think would be next for the A-lister…how about mortgaging your home, your 10-acre estate in Santa Barbara to help fund a four-part Western franchise.  He’s reportedly raised $100 million budge all by himself and has been trying to get this going for the last 30 years. Some people are speculating this helped lead to the end of his marriage.

-----

Put September 6th of 2024 on your calendar for the release of the new Beetlejuice movie!!  If you're skeptical about the sequel, Michael Keaton has provided an update that might get you on board.  He says he and Tim Burton are determined to make it, as close to the way they made it the first time. That includes improvising and riffing, but literally handmade stuff like people creating things with their hands and building something.  Beetlejuice 2 is in theaters September 6th of next year.

-----

Tanya Tucker is the FIRST…to ride a horse onto the stage of at the Grand Ole Opry on Friday.  Historians say that in 97 years, no one had ever done that.  It was the same black stallion she rode through downtown Nashville in April after she made it into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Her new album "Sweet Western Sound" came out on Friday, and there's a horse on the cover.  So that's why she did it.  It's the 26th studio album of her career.

-----

Jordan Davis is going to be a papa…again, this will be number THREE! To say he’s excited is an understatement. he’s getting ALL the feels.  “Yeah, I think you’re kind of all the emotions – excited and scared, nervous. There’s no love like a new baby, and so being able to hold him or her for the first time is always pretty special.” Adding, he loves to see them grow up and their eldest daughter who is three Eloise he says knows what’s going on he’s ready to see HER face when the baby comes home.

-----

Harrison Ford has held  MANY honors, Academy Awards nominee for Best Actor, BAFTA Award nominee for Best Actor. People’s Choice Awards and the list goes on…but nothing can compare to having a new ant and a new spider species named after you. Harvard University scientist Edward Wilson named the ant Pheidole harrisonfordi. The spider is named Calponia harrisonfordi. Wilson bestowed the honor upon Ford because of his conservation efforts..at least it wasn’t a snake…

-----

Katy Perry tells BuzzFeed that she wants to record with Carrie Underwood. Saying she hasn’t done a collab with any female country stars yet. She’s like the queen of country, so that’s cool. The List for Friday, June 2nd 2023

Welcome to The List,

Sometimes the “behind the scenes” can be more interesting than the movies themselves…take “Fast and the Furious” for example…FIRST Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was feuding with Vin Diesel…NOW…Vin Diesel blames Jason Momoa of tanking “Fast X” which I thought they won the box office when it opened…NOW…The Rock and Diesel have made up and is returning for Pt. 2 of “Fast X” as Luke Hobbs…See…THIS is why I was “Rick and Morty” a lot less confusing.

-----

Dierks Bentley is crazy about hockey, so this is a perfect match.  He's hosting the 2023 NHL Awards.  They're being held June 26th in Nashville, and will air on TNT, Sportsnet, and TVA Sports in the U.S. and Canada. He says, I've been to rinks all over the country with my travel hockey son.  [And] I am a proud member of a beer league team in Nashville.  To get to add NHL Awards host to this list is truly an honor."

-----

Billy Joel's record-breaking residency at Madison Square Garden will end in July of 2024, after 10 years and 150 shows. He's already played 60 more shows at MSG than any other artist.  He’s not LEAVING New York…he’s just going to be playing some shows elsewhere.

-----

Lauren Alaina has announced details of her new EP.  It's called "Unlocked", and it'll be out one week from today.  She says the album "comes from my heart and my hometown".  It also has a little bit of humor. There's a song with Lainey Wilson called "Thicc As Thieves" . . . and the message is in the spelling.  There's no "K" in thick.  It has two "C's" . . . which is a reference to them being, well, not skinny.

-----

Radar Online says Jamie Foxx allegedly suffered a blood clot in his brain that has left him partially paralyzed and blind. Hollywood journalist AJ Benza is quoted by the website as saying, that they blame the covid vaccine. Adding that Jamie did not want the shot, but the movie he was on, pressured him to get it. Jamie Foxx’s daughter has said that her father has been rehabbing and playing Pickle-ball, so…what’s the truth here?

-----

Keith Urban is really loving his Vegas residency…he tells Fox News that It’s allowing him to try out a lot of new show elements things that you couldn't possibly put in trucks and carry around on a tour, so we get to do stuff that we could never do if it wasn't for that residency."

-----

And lastly, I know it's hard to believe, but Tom Brady STILL says he's done playing football. He says he is looking forward to his Fox broadcasting job…We…shall..see Mr..Bond….

What’s next for Blake Shelton after The Voice?  Well he tells People magazine he has no plans to retire from music that’s for sure.  Saying “You might as well just poison me, That’s not something I can go without. -----

Radar Online claims Vin Diesel allegedly believes Jason Momoa's performance in ''Fast X'' may have tanked the film at the box office. A source tells the website, “Vin is embarrassed Jason is being branded the only bright spot in the film and stealing his thunder in the franchise he built himself. Jason’s “overacting” and “scene-stealing” undermined his movie. This is probably the reason Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson won’t work with Diesel anymore.

-----

Kimberly Perry's "If I Die Young Part Two" was partially inspired by a miscarriage she had a few months before writing the new version.  And then on-cue she got pregnant a couple of months after recording it.

The List for Monday, May 30th 2023

Welcome to The List,

Jewel delivered the National Anthem at the Indy 500 yesterday, and it was . . . different. She slowed it down a little and added some soul . . . maybe even a little country flavor, with only her acoustic guitar to accompany her. Not surprisingly, there are people complaining that it was the absolute worst thing they've ever heard . . . and others calling it brilliant.  Whatever the case, this isn't the first time she's performed the anthem like this.  She did a similar version at the NBA All-Star Game back in February.

-----

Benedict Cumberbatch and his family were at their home in London when a crazy guy with a knife kicked his way through the security gate and started screaming about wanting the place to burn down.  He was hit with a fine and a restraining order. Surprisingly not a “Dr. Strange Dismemberment spell”.

-----

The NY Post says Dolly Parton's theme park, Dollywood, is going to undergo a $500 million renovation that will take 10 years. A new roller coaster and new hotel will be part of the renovation. Sounds fun!

-----

Lee Greenwood was in France over the weekend, but he wasn't there to drink over-priced wine and eat smelly cheese.  Although that could've happened.  He visited graves in Normandy where some 10,000 American soldiers are buried. The cemetery overlooks Omaha Beach where soldiers came ashore during World War 2.  Lee planted American flags on some graves, and also honored them by singing "God Bless the USA".

-----

The Little Mermaid" owned the box office this weekend, with a $117.5 million Memorial Day take.  There’s big news coming out of Hollywood for John Wick fans…Lionsgate’s motion picture group chair Joe Drake teased development of a fifth movie in the studio’s John Wick’s franchise Thursday.  With all the spinoffs on the board he said. “We’re building out the world and when that 5 movie comes, it will be organic,  But you can rely on a regular cadence of John Wick.”

-----

Jay Leno tells the NY Post that only one thing would make him retire from stand-up comedy. ''A stroke. Then you slow down. That’s when you retire — when you have your stroke.” Not burning yourself up apparently, And finally, Jennifer Nettles still has her TV job.  Fox has renewed "Farmer Wants a Wife" for a second season.  Jennifer is the host.
