There are multiple plant sales going on tomorrow leading up to Mother’s Day on Sunday. Jean Klosterman with the Marshalltown Garden Club says their sale will run from 9am – 12 noon. They will be located in the Marshall County Farm Bureau parking lot.
The money raised will be used to fund community projects supported by the Garden Club. This event is a free will donation along with another plant sale at the Iowa State Extension Office. Here is Program Director and Master Gardeners Teacher, Chelsea Llewellyn.
She says the plant sale at the Iowa State Extension Office will run from 9am – 11am. She also mentions the Daylily Society will also have their sale 9am – 12pm at 3102 S 6th Street. Finally, the FFA Chapter at the Marshalltown High School will have their final day of their plant sale tomorrow from 10am – 2pm.
That is Luke Stalzer, Treasurer of the FFA Chapter. He says their plant sale is taking place at the High School Greenhouse.
