The Marshall County Auditor/Recorder office wants to remind voters that Absentee Vote by mail and in-person voting for the Primary Election on June 2nd will begin on May 13th at the Marshall County Election Center, 107 S 1st Ave. To receive an absentee ballot, voters need to fill out the Official Iowa Absentee Ballot Request Form which are available at the Marshall County Auditor/Recorders office or by visiting elections.marshallcountyia.gov.
In person voting will take place Wednesday, May 13th until Monday, June 1st. The Marshall County Election Center will be open from 8am – 4:30 Monday – Friday. They will also be open for Absentee Vote Saturday, May 30th from 8am – 4pm. ID is required to vote absentee.
To request an absentee ballot by mail, the request form needs to be returned to the Auditor/Recorders office by 5pm on Monday, May 18th. Any absentee ballots by mail must be back to the Auditor/Recorders office by Tuesday, June 2nd. You can deliver that in person or via mail. There is also a drop box located at the Marshall County Election Center and ballots must be in the drop box by 8pm, June 2nd.
