Welcome to The List -
We start today with some sad news, after hosting the hit gameshow Jeopardy for 37 years...Alex Trebek finally succumbed to stage 4 pancreatic cancer on Sunday...
He continued filming new episodes of Jeopardy! until Oct. 29, meaning there are still several new shows left to air. The last new episode featuring Trebek as host will air on Dec. 25, Christmas Day. Sony Pictures Entertainment, which produces the syndicated series, has not announced a new host yet. About his legacy, Alex had this to say," Treat everyday as a blessing, and enjoy it to the fullest, and try to be aware of when you leave this earth that you've made a difference in the lives of other people." George Alexander Trebek, died peacefully at age 80
Thomas Rhett announced that he’ll return this week with a new single, “What’s Your Country Song,” which comes out on Wednesday. It’s the first taste of the “Beer Can’t Fix” star’s upcoming fifth studio album. Fans can expect to see a whole lot of Thomas this week: On the same day he releases the song, he’s also set to perform his “Be a Light” at the 2020 CMA Awards. Also on Wednesday, he’s planning to make a stop on ABC’s Good Morning America.
Jason Aldean's Home almost turned into a scene from Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" "I think my wife left the back door open, I was outside still and she came out side and was like, 'we have a problem, we have birds all in the house.' and I thought you know I thought like one bird had flown in like one....and I went in there and they were everywhere."
Just a quick FYI - Bee Gees star Barry Gibb has gone country and is releasing a country duets album titled ''Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers Songbook Vol. 1''. ALL the Bee Gee's classic hits are going country with the help of Keith Urban, Alison Krauss, Little Big Town and more. The album will be out on January 8th
