It was a big night last night for Country music at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards…with Morgan Wallen walking away with Top Country Artist, Male Artist and Top Country Album for “Dangerous: The Double Album”

Another big winner was Gabby Barrett for Top Country Female Artist, Top Collaboration, and Top Country Song. She says winning these awards is an amazing feeling and blessed that she can involve her family. “To have a husband that’s super supportive and knows how much it takes.  I’m just very blessed.” Gabby’s husband is her guitar player Cade Foehner.

Another big deal last night was Duran Duran!!  The British 80’s pop group was on stage for the very first time EVER on the awards show.  The guys still making music after 40 years and have an album on the way!!  They’re putting finishing touches on ‘Future Past’ due out October 22nd

Someone won Friday's Mega Millions lottery jackpot so Tuesday's jackpot is worth $20 million.  The winning ticket was sold in Pennsylvania…

Congratulations to Blake Shelton celebrating the 20th Anniversary Of His First Album 'Blake Shelton', was released in July of 2001. But, what was even bigger than that? “The bigger deal for me though was being asked to join the Opry.  Because I remember just being shocked, but because Trace is the one that asked.  That was a big moment for me.” He says it's unbelievable to him that he's still in country music.

Dierks Bentley Is having a great time being back out on the road ... “It felt so great. It’s a great feeling being back out there. Seen the elation in the fans’ faces and in my band’s faces as well, too. Just been going out there and trying to keep it heavy on the music and then just have a good time and we’ve had. On the road again….Seems to be the anthem for many country acts now that some restrictions are being lifted… After canceling their entire 2020 Ocean Tour, Lady A has announced a return to the road, with the country trio to embark on their What a Song Can Do Tour this July.  Lady A will be joined at some stops by opening acts Carly Pearce, Niko Moon and Tenille Arts.

Keith Urban on the regret he feels with his latest album. “The Heartbreak was not just getting to take this album live out on the road.  I just want to get out and tour, and the UK has been on our list.  So, I’m just ready to get out and play, I’m really ready to come out and bring these songs to life with a real audience.” Keith Urban’s “The Speed of Now Part 1” is out now…

The third Creed film is officially in the works and as the franchise continues to tell the story of Rocky, fans have seen characters from the original films make appearances in the revived series. But could they possibly see one of the more dominating characters make a return to the realm of Rocky? Like Mr. T? He played Clubber Lang in Rocky III, when asked if HE would return in some way…Mr. T, just said he would feel kinda awkward. Adding his best part in the film would be to just support it.

Yesterday we reported that Ariana Grande will be taking Nick Jonas seat next season on The Voice.  The Globe is reporting today…that, Kelly Clarkson is not excited about the change.  it’s obvious to Kelly the pop princess will be treated like a queen bee. The other judges are just rolling their eyes and telling her to get over herself. She’s already caused major drama with Blake Shelton, who’s rapidly tired of Kelly’s prima donna ways.''
