Janet Jackson’s documentary on her life is about to launch in a four-hour film on Lifetime and A&E.  It touches on the highs and lows of a long career. Janet talks about how much material they had to go through. “There was so much, sooo much to pick from.  I mean every tour, even when I was a kid documenting everything. Dolly Parton could be the next member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. She’s one of seven first-time nominees on the ballot this year, Fans can submit their votes through April 29 at vote.rockhall.com ALSO fans can cast their votes while watching the ACM Awards March 7^th.  The 2022 inductees will be announced in May, and the induction ceremony is planned for the fall.

Super Bowl 56 is THIS weekend and one of the best parts of the game…especially if you’re not a fan of either team is the commercials… This year, crypto companies are expected to enter the Super Bowl for the first time, with new electric automakers joining them and a much lighter comedic tone is expected…and NBC says it’s sold out all advertising spots with some ads reaching $7 million for 30 seconds, a new record.

Good news for Yellowstone fans, the hit Paramount Network drama is officially confirmed to return for Season 5 in 2022. Announced just this morning production begins in May and the entire principal cast is returning. The show has become the most-watched show on cable television since it launched in 2018, and the cast was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

If you’re a fan of “Yellowstone” which is in it’s FOURTH season right now on Paramount + …I’m getting caught up with the DVD set, the spin off ‘1883’ features the Dutton clan back at the very beginning with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill in the lead rolls as James and Margaret Dutton.  Faith says it’s the most physically and mentally demanding thing she has ever done. “To be real and authentic, in that time period, Taylor Sheridan wanted us to really dive in do a deep dive and just be it…live it. And we did.” Faith says she and husband Tim McGraw never questioned whether they would take the roles or not they just did it and it’s a hit.

Speaking of Paramount +, Monday they announced that production on a prequel to the movie ‘Grease’ featuring the origin of the ‘Pink Ladies’.  Titled ‘Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies’ the series will take place four years before the original Grease. The 10-episode season will be available on Paramount+ later this year.

Tesla is offering in-car karaoke: Technology News Live says Tesla has added a karaoke platform to their infotainment systems. They’re selling a microphone for in-car karaoke. The cost is $188 for two mics, and they sold out within an hour of posting for sale just in China so far.  Isn’t it against the law to text and drive?

The fourth and final season of the hit NBC program ‘This Is Us’ is underway….Chrissy Mentz who plays Kate was asked what’s in store for her character  “Who knows, I know that I have different wigs for different times.  I’m not sure because sometimes it’s down to the wire and were like “Ah, we’re going to change something” adding that sometimes she’ll mention what she DOES know and then when it comes time to shoot…they’ve CHANGED it.

Brady Hasn't Retired: Newsweek magazine says Tom Brady has yet to make a decision on whether or not he is going to retire. During his Let's Go podcast yesterday, he said, "We're in such an era of information and people want to be in front of the news often. I totally understand that. A man was arrested after he allegedly crashed his car into Taylor Swift's New York City apartment building on Thursday morning. The man was taken into custody after police spotted him driving the wrong way down Swift's street before reversing, striking the building, and hitting a fire hydrant, law enforcement sources told TMZ. The man allegedly told police he refused to leave unless he met the "Cardigan" singer…give it a few months and she’ll have written a song about you and the incident.
