An elderly Montezuma man has died from injuries suffered in a two vehicle collision Wednesday evening in far southeast Iowa.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the accident happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 63 near the town of Bloomfield.
Investigators say 79-year-old Michael Talbert of Montezuma was driving a pickup truck pulling a recreational camper southbound on Highway 63 when his vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with a semi-trailer truck operated by 47-year-old Steven Roloson of Central City.
Talbert died from injuries received in the accident.
