The Marshalltown Central Business District announced yesterday their plans to bring back Live After 5. It is all set to kickoff on Friday, May 15th starting at 5:30 at the Cartwright Market at 107 N 1st St. The first event will be Grand Marshall, setting the tone for the summer long series.
The Marshalltown Central Business District has reimagined what this series will look like and beyond the live music they plan to bring community connection and vibrant energy to the downtown area. People can find the full list of events for the summer at marshalltownmainstreet.org.
Executive Director of the Marshalltown Central Business District, Danielle Lekin, said in the press release, “We’re thrilled to bring Live After 5 back to downtown, events like this bring people together, support our local businesses, and reinforce downtown as the living room of our community.”
