An Ames man was seriously injured after walking away from Mary Greeley and eventually climbing and falling off the third story of the Ames Power Plant.

Ames Police say the man, a mental health patient, left the hospital and, while being chased by police, climbed a fence at the Power Plant and climbed the ductwork on the building before jumping.
