If you tend to put off paying your property taxes until the last minute, then you’re in luck; you have some extra minutes.

Marshall County Treasurer Jarrett Heil says the calendar is adding an assist to the procrastinators. With March 31st falling on Sunday, that gives you until the end of business Monday, April 1st to pay those tax bills.

The treasurer’s office, located on the second floor of the Great Western Bank building, will be open until 4:30 on Monday. Of course, you can always drop your tax check in the mail or you may pay the bill online at www.iowatreasurers.org.
