Did some of the younger set maybe have a little anxiety when the test tornado drill sirens went off a couple of mornings ago? To help ease some of that nervousness as we enter severe weather season, the Marshalltown Public Library is teaming with the Red Cross to offer the Pillowcase Project this Sunday at the library. The goal is to help kids feel more comfortable about reacting to some kind of a emergency, by decorating a pillowcase.

Youth Librarian Joa LaVille says they would like you to pre-register your child for the event, which will begin at two Sunday afternoon. As with all kids event at the Library, the Pillowcase Project is free.
