Brett Favre revealed yesterday that he has Parkinson’s disease. He was testifying before Congress yesterday about a welfare fraud scandal he’s caught up in. He’s not actually facing any charges, and he’s already repaid more than $1 million in funds that were allegedly misspent. Favre turns 55 next month. He played 20 years in the NFL, mostly with the Green Bay Packers. It’s not clear that his condition was caused by concussions.

Jelly Roll just made his acting debut across from Sylvester Stallone on episode two on this season of “Tulsa King”. He played himself in the episode and looked good up there.

Johnny Cash just became the first musician ever to receive a statue at the U.S. Capitol. The statue says, “Johnny Cash . . . 1932 [to] 2003 . . . Singer, Songwriter, Artist, Humanitarian.”

The “Purple Rain” soundtrack tops “Rolling Stone” magazine’s list of the 101 greatest soundtracks of all time. It’s followed by “Help!” and “The Harder They Come”.

The Army says two Blackhawk helicopters near his Tennessee mansion were just on a Nashville training route, but now they’re checking into why they hovered there.
