The List for Wednesday, October 9th 2024

Welcome to The List,

This is kinda creepy but ok….Lisa Marie Presley’s posthumous memoir came out yesterday with the help of her daughter Riley Keough.  It’s called “From Here to the Great Unknown”. In it, Lisa Marie reveals some things you’ve probably never heard about . . . like how she kept her son Benjamin’s body on dry ice at her home for TWO MONTHS.  Riley says that she and her mom decided to get tattoos that matched Benjamin’s.  So, they had a tattoo artist come to the house to see Benjamin’s tattoos . . . in person . . . on his body.

ABC says Jelly Roll is inspiring fans with a new HEY DUDE shoe collection. The limited-edition slip-on features Jelly’s ‘Beautifully Broken’ album cover art and will be available for purchase on Friday.

—–

Page Six says Garth Brooks is suing his accuser for damages and has publicly named her after she allegedly demanded millions from him. The country singer’s legal documents claim the accuser threatened to publish lies about him to extort money. The accuser’s lawyers criticized Brooks for outing her and say they will seek maximum sanctions against him.

”Folie a Deux’s” poor box office performance may lead to the cancellation of ‘’Joker 3’’.   I’m surprised that they even considered it….

The List for Thursday, February 5th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Rumors are flying that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have allegedly set a wedding date. A so-called source says the planning is “military-level precise,” which tracks, because Taylor hates surprises and Travis runs NFL playbooks for a living. Pop music, professional football, and Hollywood elite all in one room. Locked down, protected, unforgettable. Basically the most intense group project ever attempted.

-----

Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison is launching a new dating show for people who want a “traditional, marriage-minded partnership built on commitment and shared values.” Which apparently is now considered edgy programming. Somewhere, reality TV just gasped. This is not roses and drama. This is compatibility and emotional maturity.

-----

Before Luke Combs made it big, he had $200 left in his bank account. That money went toward mastering one song, “Hurricane.” He releases it, sells about 10,000 copies the first week, and uses the cash to finish the rest of the album. Then pitches it to labels. And that, kids, is how you bet on yourself and win.

-----

Toby Keith, Kenny Rogers, and Ed Harris are being inducted into the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. The ceremony happens in April in Oklahoma City. They’re joining legends like George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Kurt Russell, and Burt Reynolds. That is a hall with serious swagger. Cowboy hats optional. Legends required.
