Welcome to The List,

Congratulations Tim McGraw and Faith Hill celebrating 25 years together!!

Tim: “I’m gonna let you hang out with me.”

Faith: “Oh, that’s the best gift ever. That’s amazing.  I’m gonna have to do that, like four-hour workout with you.  No thank you!”

Well, there’s the love that’s lasted a quarter of a century…

Maren Morris tells Country Living Magazine that the first time she felt like an adult is when she signed the papers for her new home. Saying It was surreal to sign the deed, it was the first time I really looked at something that was such a great investment and I paid for it. It made me feel like a real adult.”..The first time I felt like an adult…was when I graduated High School…lasted about an hour…still haven’t recovered…

Elite Daily says the Silence of the Lambs house, in Perryopolis, Pennsylvania, is available for rent as an Airbnb. There is a life-size Hannibal Lecter replica in the entryway. The replica is wearing a leather face mask, an orange jumpsuit and a straight jacket. A Halloween night stay for eight people costs $2,195. (drop)

The NY Post says NASA is using the movie ”Armageddon” as a blueprint for getting rid of an asteroid. On November 24th, the space agency will launch a rocket towards an asteroid’s moon in an attempt to deflect it so it won’t hit Earth. The rocket will hit the asteroid at 15,000 mph – Great scientists with PhD’s and Masters in Astro physiology are relying on a MOVIE to save the planet…great…I feel safer already…the movie DID have a happy ending…I think…

The List for Thursday, February 5th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Rumors are flying that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have allegedly set a wedding date. A so-called source says the planning is “military-level precise,” which tracks, because Taylor hates surprises and Travis runs NFL playbooks for a living. Pop music, professional football, and Hollywood elite all in one room. Locked down, protected, unforgettable. Basically the most intense group project ever attempted.

-----

Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison is launching a new dating show for people who want a “traditional, marriage-minded partnership built on commitment and shared values.” Which apparently is now considered edgy programming. Somewhere, reality TV just gasped. This is not roses and drama. This is compatibility and emotional maturity.

-----

Before Luke Combs made it big, he had $200 left in his bank account. That money went toward mastering one song, “Hurricane.” He releases it, sells about 10,000 copies the first week, and uses the cash to finish the rest of the album. Then pitches it to labels. And that, kids, is how you bet on yourself and win.

-----

Toby Keith, Kenny Rogers, and Ed Harris are being inducted into the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. The ceremony happens in April in Oklahoma City. They’re joining legends like George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Kurt Russell, and Burt Reynolds. That is a hall with serious swagger. Cowboy hats optional. Legends required.

Catch The List, with Jonathan Knight weekday afternoon at 4:20. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
