The List for Wednesday, March 23rd 2022

Welcome to The List,

Dierks Bentley took his son out for some paintball on his 7th birthday.  What he DIDN’T know was how much aggression his wife was looking to get out and how good she would be at doing that. “She came around the back door and point blank shot me in the flank and drew blood!  I don’t know, it might be a new way of couples therapy is to go paintballing to get that aggression out.” Remember happy wife, happy life…and if she’s NOT happy..don’t take her paintballin

Jeff Foxworthy is back…and here he talks about making up with his in-laws for using them in his act all these years. ”I finally said, look I’m going to talk about you I can’t help it.  But I’ll take you on a fabulous vacation.  I would get them on vacation and come up with twenty more minutes of material.” Jeff’s new comedy special ‘The Good Old Days” is streaming now on Netflix

Luke Bryan’s wife Caroline took their prank wars to a new level.  On Monday’s “American Idol”, she dressed up as a crew member, She started “dusting off” a nearby piano and banging on the keys.  When the contestant came out Caroline’s phone alarm went off.  When the girl launched into her song, Caroline started crinkling a bag of chips. Katy then left the stage to rip the chips out of her hands.  Caroline followed her to the judges table and took them back.  Finally, Katy came over and ripped the hat off Caroline’s head for the big reveal. Everyone was in on it including the contestant…Luke and Lionel were the only two in the dark.

The List for Tuesday, December 16th 2025

Welcome to The List,

Sad news from the soap world. General Hospital icon Anthony Geary has passed away at age 78 due to complications from surgery in Amsterdam. Fans knew him forever as Luke Spencer, one of the most legendary characters daytime TV has ever seen. His longtime on-screen partner Genie Francis said, “No star burned brighter than Tony Geary,” adding that working with him was always unpredictable and exciting. A true original, and a massive loss for television history.

Radar Online says Mariah Carey is allegedly stressed that her Christmas anthem All I Want For Christmas Is You might not dominate the charts this year. Apparently Gen Z is flirting with other holiday jams. An insider says this song is basically Mariah’s financial Super Bowl. If it underperforms, the brand wobbles. Somewhere, Mariah is warming up her whistle register and threatening December itself.

-----

Riley Green had a moment onstage when a fan tossed leopard-print granny panties at him mid-show. He kept singing like a pro while the internet absolutely did not. His tour crew has now started collecting bras, panties, and even hair extensions thrown on stage. Riley said they were going to donate the bras once he learned how expensive they are. Country concerts really are built different.

-----

Blake Shelton told People magazine that Gwen Stefani is the head chef at home, especially when it comes to Italian food. Blake says her lasagna takes all day to make, but he’d eat it for the rest of his life. Somewhere, an Oklahoma grill is quietly weeping, but love is love. And apparently love tastes like lasagna.

You can catch The List, weekday afternoon at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
