The List for Wednesday, January 12th 2022

 Welcome to The List,

Parker McCollum has another hit on his hands “To Be Loved By You”  is doing VERY well here he tells us how it came about… “Recording ‘To Be Loved By You” was really a unique kind of experience. It was a song, I think, that when I wrote it with my buddy Rhett Akins, I kind of said, ‘Man, what if we just push the limits on this one and kind of just see how far we can push the envelope here?’ It’s crazy to see how well it turned out, and it’s such a rockin’ tune and we’re stoked about it.” ‘To Be Loved By You’ is Parkers second single from his debut studio album ‘Gold Chain Cowboy’, and is a follow up to his number one song ‘Pretty Heart”

If you’re an aspiring artist Eric Church has some great advise for you.  He tells CMT that being told ‘No’ is a great way to get inspired to succeed. “There’s a motivation in being told no, that you can’t do something. It’s okay to go to ten places and get the door slammed in your face. It’s an integral part of learning who you are as an artist. And remember: Nashville told Randy Travis to put a hat on, they told George Strait to take a hat off.”

TMZ says the “Nightmare on Elm Street” house has sold for $2.98 million. The three-bedroom Los Angeles home was famously featured in the 1984 horror movie. John Cena stars in a new program called “Peacemaker” based on James gunn’s 2021 film “The Suicide Squad”.  Peacemaker is a vainglorious man who believes in peace at any cost no matter how many people he has to kill to get it. ”It’s a superhero tail but it’s really different. The character is very conflicted, the character was debuted in a movie called The Suicide Squad and got a lot of attention because of his ideology.  This is an 8 episode dive into the dysfunctional structure of that ideology.” So, it’s NOT your typical superhero movie…”Peacemaker” premieres on HBO Max tomorrow
