Welcome to The List –
Yesterday Eric Church told us HIS hangover cure, but Dierks Bentley says there IS no cure for a New Year’s hangover … “I think January first is universally accepted as a day off. So I mean, a little hair of the dog, I guess. But just — water and stay on the couch, I guess. There’s no real sure-fire cure for that”
Justin Moore says his celebrations have changed a bit “My favorite kind of New Year’s has changed over the years. Back in the day, we stayed out and turned it up pretty loud and stayed out late and did all that. Nowadays with kids, it’s hard to even make it to midnight, so it’s changed over the years. But it’s changed for the better”
Tom Hanks has a new movie called ‘News Of The World’ and says he hugged his horse every morning ” Every morning you throw your arms around them and you say ‘how are you my darling little chestnut, I’m so nuts about you.’ Which you sort of have to do because I have a feeling that horses, honestly they would much rather live in a world without human beings climbing on top of them.” ‘News Of The World’ is in theaters now.
Dr. Drew Pinsky has tested positive for COVID-19 and is recuperating at home. According to an Instagram post shared to his account on Tuesday, Dr. Drew’s wife, Susan, tested negative. Dr. Drew says he’s feeling better, he’s home and his fever is down. Drinking plenty of Hydralyte.
Ken Jeong And Joel McHale will be hosting ‘Fox’s New Year’s Eve Toast & Roast 2021’. They give a couple reason why you should watch. “We’re the shortest, in terms of average height, our energy is the most awkward… it’s good to be the least cool.” FOX’s New Year’s Eve Toast & Roast 2021, hosted by Joel McHale and Ken Jeong, airs live on Dec. 31 in two parts staring at 7p.m. central and continues the second part of its broadcast at 10 p.m.

Welcome to The List,
Starting off with some royal news, and surprise, it’s awkward again. Reports say things are allegedly tense between King Charles and Prince William. An insider claims there’s real anger on both sides, with William being described as controlled, strategic, and very aware that he’s the future king. Translation for the rest of us. Two strong personalities, one crown, zero compromise.

The Super Bowl is fascinating because everyone watches it, but almost half of America claims they do not care who wins. A reported 47 percent of Americans have no opinion on the outcome. Among those who do care, more are pulling for the Seahawks than the Patriots. And me? I am rooting for a solid cheese dip and no commercials that make me cry.
-----
Luke Combs is sitting out the Madden Bowl concert ahead of the Super Bowl. Why? Because his wife is expecting their third child. Luke posted that family always comes first and apologized for missing the show. That is called priorities. And honestly, Dad mode beats Super Bowl mode every time.

Jelly Roll is giving one of his Grammy Awards to the juvenile detention center where he once spent time. His wife Bunnie Xo says he wants to give the kids a little inspiration. That is not a publicity stunt. That is a full-circle moment. And possibly the most meaningful Grammy flex ever.
Catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
