The List for Wednesday, December 21st 2022

Welcome to The List,

Sharing Christmas memories today with Lauren Alaina, one of HER’S is one from when she was six years old… “When I got my Barbie bike when I was six years old, and I thought I ruled the world because it had a horn and it had Barbie’s picture on it.” So Barbie had a bike? Well, if she can have a townhouse, Corvette.. she can have a bike…my G.I. Joe was the best because IT had Kung Fu Grip!

Luke Bryan Recalls The Most Meaningful Christmas Gift His Wife Ever Gave Him … “My wife, Caroline, went and found my brother’s old pickup truck from 1996. it was down in Louisiana, and it was still on the road. her and my dad went down, they picked it up, brought it to Nashville and Christmas Eve night pulled into the driveway with it, and let’s just say that yes, the tears were flowing and it will never be topped.” Luke lost his brother Chris tragically in a car accident in 1996, Chris was 26 years old.

Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Bruckheimer tells The Hollywood Reporter that he hopes Disney allows him to cast Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow again. “You’d have to ask them. I can’t answer that question. I really don’t know. I would love to have him in the movie. He’s a friend, a terrific actor, and it’s unfortunate that personal lives creep into everything we do. We tried to kill him. It didn’t work.”

Jon Pardi Says His Grandmother’s Elvis Christmas Ornament Sparked His Love For The King … “One of my favorite memories of my grandmother’s tree, and I think maybe why I love Elvis so much, She had an ornament and it was Elvis, and it was always on her tree. You’d go and you’d hit a button, and it would sing ‘Blue Christmas. And I’d just always hit it, and he’d be doing his pose with a microphone, so yeah, ‘Blue Christmas’ and that ornament, I think that’s probably why I like Elvis so much.”

Carly Pearce is already lookin down the road to New Years Eve!! She says it’s a time for reflection, “I think that every year I try to look back on the year and see what has happened, what I achieved, what I felt like I could do better at, and just try to set quarterly goals. I try to set yearly goals just to make sure that I’m continuing to try to get better.”

The List for Tuesday, March 31st 2026

Welcome to The List,

Taylor Swift has officially entered her glittery legal era again. A Las Vegas performer says Taylor’s use of “The Life Of A Showgirl” is stomping all over her own brand, “Confessions of a Showgirl.” She’s suing for trademark infringement, wants damages, and an injunction too.

Only Kid Rock could turn a poolside salute into a military investigation. The Army says two Blackhawk helicopters near his Tennessee mansion were just on a Nashville training route, but now they’re checking into why they hovered there. Kid says nobody’s getting in trouble and called it pretty neat. Nothing says casual Tuesday like cannonballs, patriotism, and two black helicopters hovering near your house…

-----

Riley Green is stacking side quests like a pro. He’s making his TV debut on Marshals in mid-April. And because sleep is for other people, he’s also reportedly opening a second Duck Blind bar in Gatlinburg. At this point Riley’s building a country music cinematic universe.

-----

Thomas Rhett says one of his favorite parts of touring is trying wild new foods on the road, which sounds adventurous and expensive. Meanwhile Dylan Scott keeps it a little more backyard chaos at home, admitting he’ll wander into the kitchen at midnight and cook a full meal like it’s noon. His wife wakes up confused; he’s making dinner round two. That’s not a snack, that’s a second shift.
