Welcome to The List,
Brantley Gilbert’s Best Christmas Gift Was A New Best Friend … “The best gift I ever received as a child, I still gotta say, I think I was in third grade, and I got a miniature dachshund. My parents got me a dog, and that little dude was my best friend for eight years. His name was Max, and he was one of the best dogs ever. So that’s probably my best Christmas memory.”

Melissa McCarthy tells People magazine that she has a “weird” annual holiday tradition. “Every Christmas Eve, we have a meatball party and watch all of ‘The Lord of the Rings’.

Chris Stapleton tells GQ magazine that he and his band attended a Beyonce concert earlier this year. “It’s a big show. You know, there’s dancers and explosions, all those things, but at the core of it it’s just her singing her [butt] off. Maybe we can do [costume changes like her] for my show. Just get me nearly naked on a bearskin rug.”

Carrie Underwood Loves Traditional Christmas Songs … “When I think of Christmas, you know, I’m a very traditional person. I love traditional hymns. I love traditional Christmas songs. It’s just…it’s what makes me think of Christmas.”…and if you ask her…she would tell you her FAVORITE Christmas song is “O Holy Night”.

US Weekly magazine says Kelly Osbourne is considering getting plastic surgery for Christmas. She says, “I think I’ve decided what I want for Christmas plastic surgery. I just think it’s my time,” like mother..like daughter….

Jason Momoa tells People magazine that he has a weird breakfast of choice. “I always have rice with avocado, sunny-side-up eggs and sardines. The sardines must be fresh. And if they’re grilled, all the better. I have that every morning that I’m able.”

Welcome to The List,
Travis Kelce is out here setting expectations so high the rest of us are gonna get yelled at for bringing home gas station flowers. He’s reportedly spent $141,000 on pre-wedding gifts for Taylor Swift, including Rolex watches, designer jackets, and daily flower deliveries. Daily. Meanwhile, I forgot my anniversary once and tried to fix it with a breakfast burrito. Travis Kelce just ruined relationships for every man in America.

Lainey Wilson is teasing new music, and the title might be the most Lainey Wilson thing ever. The new single is called “Can’t Sit Still,” which tracks, because she’s been everywhere except my back yard party. She says her friends describe her as “a suitcase with legs,” which honestly sounds like Delta Airlines lost her twice already. No official release date yet, but she says it’s coming “real soon,” so prepare your playlists accordingly.

Bunnie XO just revealed she thought Jelly Roll was a jerk when they first met, which proves once again women love a fixer-upper. She said he had “teddy bear with teeth energy” and sad eyes, and she basically looked at him like a home improvement project from HGTV. Fast forward to now, they’re one of Country music’s biggest power couples. Moral of the story, sometimes the guy who ignores you becomes your husband.

The new Mummy reboot is ditching the Tom Cruise action vibe and going straight for emotional damage. This one’s from the director of Evil Dead Rise, so instead of running from explosions, you’ll be running from your own nightmares. It’s about a girl who disappears and comes back after spending quality time inside a 3,000-year-old coffin. It hits theaters April 17th, and I’ll be watching it from the safety of daylight and denial.
You can catch The List, this afternoon at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
