Chris Young’s “Famous Friends” is a song about good friends in a small town, and the characters in the song were inspired by his real-life friends in Tennessee. In an interview Chris admitted not ALL of his friends liked the song. There was ONE person and to this day every time he sees him he says ‘Hey remember that song you hated?” “Famous Friends” spent two weeks atop the country charts, giving Young his 12th No. 1 hit.

Reuters reports the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is revoking Andrew Cuomo’s Emmy Award because he resigned from office and because of his sexual harassment allegations. The Huffington Post says Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon, who ran against Andrew Cuomo for Governor of New York in 2018, slammed him yesterday as he was leaving the governor’s mansion. She tweeted: ”The difference between me and Andrew Cuomo? Neither of us is governor, but I still have my Emmy(s)…ouch!!

TMZ is reporting today that Kanye West has filed legal documents to change his name to simply “Ye.” Which is his nickname…Of course, the news prompted a multitude of spirited reactions amongst those on social media…most of which was a collective ‘eye roll’

Sad news from the NASCAR world. Greg Biffle, one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers, has died at age 55 in a plane crash in North Carolina. Authorities say seven people were killed, including Biffle, his wife Cristina, and their two children. Beyond his racing success, Biffle was widely praised for his humanitarian work, especially helping communities after Hurricane Helene. The racing world is mourning a champion on and off the track.

Tom Cruise is allegedly on a long, carefully planned mission to become Sir Tom Cruise. A source says this has been years in the making hosting events, shaking hands, embedding himself deep in the British film world. Apparently he knows exactly how the system works and he’s been playing the long game. At this point, don’t be shocked if the next Mission: Impossible ends with him bowing politely and accepting a sword tap on each shoulder.
