The List for Tuesday, October 3rd 2023

Welcome to The List,

BroBible says 27 million viewers watched the Chiefs-Jets game on Sunday making it the most-watched TV show since the Super Bowl last February. Taylor Swift was at the game supporting Travis Kelce. NBC says the game was watched by an additional 2 million female viewers. How they know that I have no Idea, I CAN tell you that at the Giants-Seahawks game last night every time an ad for her concert came up on the Jumbotron it got booed.

Bailey Zimmerman Thanks His Fans For Taking His New Song, ‘Religiously’, To Number One  “Big day! Want to know why? Because ‘Religiously’ is number one of country radio in the US! Not only is ‘Religiously’ the number one song on country radio, but y’all sold out ‘Religiously: The Tour’! Everything that has happened in my life, everything that’s going on now, my music, the tours, everything, is because of y’all, and I can’t thank you enough. I love y’all, see you next year on ‘Religiously: The Tour’. Sold out. Let’s go!”  His tour kicks off February 1st in LA.

Well, Tom Brady did it…so did Justin Bieber, and Mark Wahlberg, Now, Riley Green. He tells CountryNow.com that modeling for an underwear campaign is something he never expected to do in his life. “It’s different. It wasn’t really something I was expecting to be doing with my life at 34. But apparently people want to see me in my underwear. So yay for me?”

Jon Pardi is feeling super festive this year.  He’ll be releasing an album called “Merry Christmas from Jon Pardi” on October 27th.  He’s also planning a “big ole Christmas party” . . . and you’re invited. It’s a one-night only show at the Beacon Theater in New York City on December 16th.  That one’s called “A Very Merry Christmas with Jon Pardi” . . . and “general” tickets go on sale this Friday at JonPardi.com.

We all saw Taylor Swift kicking it with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman at the Chiefs game on Sunday.  But somebody else was in her posse.  His name is Shawn Levy, and he’s directing “Deadpool 3”. And now there’s all kinds of speculation that Taylor is going to be in the movie.  Who will she play?  The consensus is DAZZLER, a rock star (slash) superhero with the power to turn sound vibrations into light and energy beams.

 —–

And lastly, we’ve found out that Lainey Wilson, Thomas Rhett, and Lynyrd Skynyrd are headlining this year’s “New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash”.  The event will feature close to 50 performers from various locations around the city. The five-hour extravaganza will air live starting at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on CBS and Paramount+.

You can catch The List, weekdays at 2:20 and 4:20 on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1

The List for Thursday, February 19th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Travis Kelce is out here setting expectations so high the rest of us are gonna get yelled at for bringing home gas station flowers. He’s reportedly spent $141,000 on pre-wedding gifts for Taylor Swift, including Rolex watches, designer jackets, and daily flower deliveries. Daily. Meanwhile, I forgot my anniversary once and tried to fix it with a breakfast burrito. Travis Kelce just ruined relationships for every man in America.

-----

Lainey Wilson is teasing new music, and the title might be the most Lainey Wilson thing ever. The new single is called “Can’t Sit Still,” which tracks, because she’s been everywhere except my back yard party. She says her friends describe her as “a suitcase with legs,” which honestly sounds like Delta Airlines lost her twice already. No official release date yet, but she says it’s coming “real soon,” so prepare your playlists accordingly.

-----

Bunnie XO just revealed she thought Jelly Roll was a jerk when they first met, which proves once again women love a fixer-upper. She said he had “teddy bear with teeth energy” and sad eyes, and she basically looked at him like a home improvement project from HGTV. Fast forward to now, they’re one of Country music’s biggest power couples. Moral of the story, sometimes the guy who ignores you becomes your husband.

-----

The new Mummy reboot is ditching the Tom Cruise action vibe and going straight for emotional damage. This one’s from the director of Evil Dead Rise, so instead of running from explosions, you’ll be running from your own nightmares. It’s about a girl who disappears and comes back after spending quality time inside a 3,000-year-old coffin. It hits theaters April 17th, and I’ll be watching it from the safety of daylight and denial.

You can catch The List, this afternoon at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
