The List for Tuesday, October 27th 2020

Welcome to The List –

Halloween is coming up fast and country artists really get into the spirit. Like Tim McGraw…what does HE want to be for Halloween – “Of course, instinctively, you want to say Superman so you could fly. But since I’m a pilot, I can already fly. But no, I think you’d want to be the Invisible Man, wouldn’t you? Mainly because you could observe without being observed.”

and what does Darius Rucker love about Halloween “Halloween’s big for me, because the kids love it. It’s my kids’ favorite holiday, so anything they’re into, I’m into”

Ryan Reynolds describes Halloween in Canada they celebrate with fireworks…a very different kind of celebration…“It’s like there are explosives involved, like it is dangerous. I remember when I would leave for Halloween, I’d get dressed up like a cowboy or something and I’d be walking out the door looking at my parents thinking there’s a fine line between sending your kid out trick or treating and just calling child protective services.”

Stacker has ranked the 100 best scary movies of all time, and they’re all old school films with an Alfred Hitchcock entry taking top honors. In Psycho, when Janet Leigh’s character checks in at the Bates Motel…it was followed by 1968’s Rosemary’s Baby and the 1935 version of Bride of Frankenstein.

Walmart is going to sell a chicken scented KFC fire log…and Jimmy Fallon noticed “That’s what they light at the Vatican when the pope wants a twelve piece…The KFC log is fun until your dog jumps onto the fire.”

You can catch The List weekdays at 2:20 and 4:20 on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
