The List for Tuesday, October 20th 2020

Welcome to The List –

Garth Brooks announced yesterday his new album, titled ‘Fun’, “Hey everybody Garth Brooks here, reminding you October 21st, 7pm Eastern we’re going to bring you the preview of the big album drop that’s coming this fall. ‘Fun’ is coming, and you guys have been so patient — it’s time to have some fun…This is going to be awesome, can’t wait to see you guys. Again October 21st 7pm, be there ok? Love you.” as they say “but wait there’s more!” Garth will also release his second live album, called ‘Triple Live Deluxe’, November 20th. It includes 30 songs over 3 CDs from the country star’s various tours including his world tour with Trisha Yearwood.

Carly Pearce turned to Instagram over the weekend to treat fans to a preview of a new song she recorded in the middle of quarantine called “Heart First.” Revealing that she sang it in one take while recording in a closet, The demo comes hot on the heels of Carly’s current single, “Next Girl,”

The countdown to Christmas is on. Starting October 23, in what’s now a yearly tradition, the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries begin airing their new holiday movies, specials and more…For a full listing of this year’s movies, check out HallmarkChannel.com/Christmas.

Blake and Gwen…Many want to know when it’s going to happen…Gwen Stefani was asked when she will marry Blake…and here is her answer. “Well, the good news is that um…we still LIKE each other alot so…that’s good. Um (laughs) well, I don’t know, we’ll see what happens!!”

Jimmy Fallon last night pointed out that AMC Theaters are allowing people to rent out their theaters for $99. “Nothing lifts your spirits like watching Sonic the Hedgehog in an abandon building. Yep, you can rent out the entire theater to yourself yet, somehow, there’ll still be a person that walks in and sits down right next to you.”

The List for Thursday, March 19th 2026

Welcome to The List…

Hollywood’s biggest fear is officially here. Dead actors… still booking roles. A new movie is using A.I. to bring Val Kilmer back. Yeah. From the grave… straight to the premiere. The director says Val wanted this. His family signed off too. Which is great… until your Netflix suggestions start haunting you. Somewhere an Oscar just felt uncomfortable.

-----

Tom Brady says he wears a disguise to his kids’ games. Not kidding. Hoodie. Hat. Full undercover quarterback mode. Apparently the kids don’t want attention on them because… you know… their dad is TOM BRADY. Imagine trying to sneak into a gym when you’re built like a superhero statue. Sir… we still know it’s you.

-----

Rumor is Keith Urban might be going through a midlife crisis after the split. Sources say he wants to live the single life again. Totally different person now. Which honestly just sounds like every guy who suddenly discovers energy drinks and fitted jeans. Next step is obvious. Corvette. New Balance. Bluetooth headset.

-----

Kenny Chesney just launched his own record label. Big move. Real boss energy. It’s named after his boat… because of course it is. And the first artist he signed…drumroll… Kenny Chesney. Man skipped the middleman and hired himself. HR meeting must be real smooth.

You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
