Miranda Lambert somehow got shoved into “Contemporary” instead of “Traditional,” so I guess steel guitars are now considered EDM. And Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, AND Megan Moroney all got totally ignored. Meanwhile, a totally FAKE, A.I. country act called Breaking Rust hit #1 with “Walk the Walk.” Two million monthly Spotify listeners… for a robot band. So yes, your toaster may be the next country star. Yee-haw, Skynet.

Hollywood’s ageless action doll Tom Cruise is reportedly back on the dating market after things fizzled with Ana de Armas. Word is he’s looking for a setup and has laser-locked onto Charlize Theron. He wants to “collaborate,” which is celebrity-speak for “Let’s flirt on set and see what happens.” Charlize once called for Tom to join Fast & Furious and now his friends are telling him to go for it. Scientology meets Fast & Furious? I’d watch that more than the last three sequels.

Country legend Vince Gill is getting the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s CMAs. Well deserved the man’s been making music longer than most of us have been alive.
