The List for Tuesday, March 5th 2024

Welcome to The List,

Jamie Foxx says he will finally open up about his mysterious medical emergency last April.  But he’s going to do it “his way”  in a stand-up comedy special. There’s no word when he’ll be hitting the stage.

Thomas Rhett tells People magazine that he didn’t drop his father’s last name, Akins, because he wanted to make it on his own. People think that but that’s not what was happening…he’s ALWAYS been called Thomas Rhett and he didn’t want to get rid of it. It just sort of happened that way.”

This might be exciting to some…or not…but, Lindsay Lohan confirmed that “Freaky Friday 2” is in the works, but couldn’t give away any further details.  And A “Baywatch” reboot series is coming to Fox.  No details have been announced, like a release date or casting.

Did you know that the King of Country, George Strait himself, could have recorded “Tennessee Whiskey” but passed on it?  The man has 60 number one hits, so he’ll be fine, but it’s crazy to think about.  Now, you just can’t fathom anyone but Chris Stapleton doing it…

You can catch The List, weekdays at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
