We start The List today with some sad news Paul Sorvino the actor who played mob boss Paul Cicero in the movie ‘Goodfellas’ passed away yesterday. He also played a gangster in the Tom Cruise thriller “The Firm”, Journalist Yashar Ali pointed out that we’ve recently lost FOUR legends from the fictional mob: Sorvino and Ray Liotta from “Goodfellas”, James Caan from “The Godfather”, and Tony “Paulie Walnuts” Sirico from “The Sopranos”. Paul Sorvino passed of natural causes, he was 83.

Luke Combs flew a cancer patient named Addi and her family to his show in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday. He put them a luxury suite, gave them a tour of the venue . . . and then brought Addi to the stage and serenaded her. You can watch the touching below.

It’s Summer and already we’re talking about Halloween!! This Season The Simpsons will parody Stephen King’s classic novel It in a special singular Treehouse Of Horror episode.
Details of the show’s upcoming 34th season were teased at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday where executive producer Matt Selman announced that one of the two Halloween episodes in the next season will be dedicated entirely to a parody of It. The 34th season is set to premiere on September 25 on Fox.

Blake Shelton shared a photo of THREE racing helmets that were given to him by his buddy, Jimmie Johnson. One of the helmets is autographed, but the others have photos of two different men. Blake didn’t mention their names in the caption. But, someone in the comments shed some light on that. Quote, “Love this. I saw the backstory of you and Jimmie helping with the design and the fact that it has your brother and dad included. What a special gift.” Blake’s dad Richard passed away in 2012. His older brother Richie died in a car crash in 1990. He was 24.

Sad news from the NASCAR world. Greg Biffle, one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers, has died at age 55 in a plane crash in North Carolina. Authorities say seven people were killed, including Biffle, his wife Cristina, and their two children. Beyond his racing success, Biffle was widely praised for his humanitarian work, especially helping communities after Hurricane Helene. The racing world is mourning a champion on and off the track.
