The List for Tuesday, July 19th 2022

Welcome to The List,

Newcomer Jackson Dean has had great success so far with his hit song ‘Don’t Come Looking’ from it’s climb on the charts and being featured on the hit TV show Yellowstone. “I think people like it because they’re like, that’s exactly what I love to do. And I love to do that stuff. I love to get out where nobody can find me. I love to be out by myself, you know, just out there. “

Rocker/Movie Director Rob Zombie’s “Munsters” movie is heading straight to Netflix . . . which is also the home of Tim Burton’s upcoming “Addams Family” series, “Wednesday”. The original “Munsters” and “Addams Family” ran against each other on network TV from 1964 to 1966. Rob posted some pictures from an old “TV Guide” that previewed the 1964 – ’65 season, and said, quote, “This fall we are gonna spook-out like it’s 1964!  There’s no release date for either yet.

TV shows like The Voice and American Idol sometimes miss the boat…The Voice and Luke Combs and American Idol with Maren Morris.  Posting that her mom found her American Idol audition ticket from 2007. She didn’t make it past the first round cattle call…It feels like the equivalent of your mom saving your 10th place trophy. They passed on me in 5 seconds. Sometimes the long road pays off.

Carrie Underwood finally received her Grammy Award in the mail. The American Idol alum shared a photo of her eighth gold trophy that she received for her contribution to the album My SaviorMy Savior is the eighth studio album from Carrie Underwood, and it was released in March 2021. She’s infused faith-based songs throughout her catalog, but the album was her first full one dedicated to all gospel music.

People magazine says that even though Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck had a small ceremony in Vegas they ARE planning on having a large wedding party so they can celebrate with family and friends.  As far as a honeymoon…nothing is planned yet…

Somebody in Jason Aldean’s hometown of Macon, Georgia painted a mural of his face on the side of a store, and it’s not good.  His face is crooked, and his teeth are messed up.  The mural is called Macon Greatest, and it has other hometown heroes, like Otis Redding.  Jason hasn’t commented.  And Reba McEntire is trying to reboot her TV show “Reba.  It ran from 2001 to 2007 on the CW.

The List for Thursday, March 26th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Hookup shows come and go. Paychecks apparently stay forever. Taylor Frankie Paul will still get her full Bachelorette salary. TMZ says the payday lands in the low to mid six figures. The season got shelved after that viral domestic violence video resurfaced. Reality TV motto. Love fades. Direct deposit survives.

-----

Some guys jog. Some guys apparently brawl with neighbors. “Reacher” star Alan Ritchson reportedly got into a physical altercation. Sources say intense behavior is kind of his brand at this point. He doesn’t think he crossed a line. Neither does the authorities,

-----

Country star meets horsepower. This feels aggressively on brand. Darius Rucker is now a NASCAR Cup Series team owner. He invested in Legacy Motor Club which competes at the top level. From singing about wagons to literally owning fast cars. That is what we call career acceleration.

-----

If you like free music. Nashville just planned your summer. CMA Fest announced around 150 artists for daytime stages. Names include Ernest, Melissa Etheridge, Tucker Wetmore, more. The free shows run June fourth through seventh downtown. Wallet stays full. Voice will absolutely not.

You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
