3/27/2026 Sheryl vs James sponsored by Tannin
Will the third time be a charm for Sheryl or will James send the KLASH into overtime?
Welcome to The List,
Being star struck…it happens…when you meet Kenny Chesney or Luke Combs, or Garth…it EVEN happens to the stars!! Take Carrie Underwood for example. In an interview she talked about HER moment…” Janet Jackson blew me a kiss, I was looking around to see who like who she…my friend who was with me was like blow one back! I was like I froze!!! Now the moments passed, and it would be weird if I’m just over there like just waving or something like a weirdo.” The self-proclaimed ‘home body’ says she would never get out if it weren’t for her husband…so if you’re ever in Nashville try not to be to star struck!

Shark Week!! It’s back on Discovery, kicks off Sunday July 24th . The 34th annual Shark week has for the FIRST TIME EVER a master of ceremonies Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Some of this year’s crazier-sounding Shark Week specials include “Jaws vs. Kraken”,“Pigs vs. Shark”, and “Mechashark Love Down Under”. No word on if there’s any of the Sharknado movies.

Tim McGraw says he is working on his 16th studio album. Billboard magazine quotes him as saying, “I’m in the middle of it. I’ve probably mixed eight so far and will record a few more soon. I’m sure we’ll have something off the new album here before too long. I don’t know when the album will drop.”

It seems Walker Hayes is ALWAYS on Tik Tok or doing some kind of dance video with his kids…that’s something you’ll NEVER see Country Star Randy Houser doing. Saying he HATES the idea of posting stuff on TikTok just to go viral. He’s ok with posting on social media, one look at his Instagram and you’ll see he does it all the time..but draws the line at Tik Tok.

BuzzFeed has a poll of which early 2000s celebrity heartthrobs are still crush-worthy. Those who still got it include Orlando Bloom, Paul Rudd, and Chris Evans. Those who don’t are Justin Timberlake, Ashton Kutcher, and Nick Lachey

Olympian Simone Biles was mistaken for a child on her flight home after receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom. A flight attendant even tried giving her a coloring book. Probably because she’s 4-foot-8.

Welcome to The List,
Hookup shows come and go. Paychecks apparently stay forever. Taylor Frankie Paul will still get her full Bachelorette salary. TMZ says the payday lands in the low to mid six figures. The season got shelved after that viral domestic violence video resurfaced. Reality TV motto. Love fades. Direct deposit survives.
-----
Some guys jog. Some guys apparently brawl with neighbors. “Reacher” star Alan Ritchson reportedly got into a physical altercation. Sources say intense behavior is kind of his brand at this point. He doesn’t think he crossed a line. Neither does the authorities,
-----
Country star meets horsepower. This feels aggressively on brand. Darius Rucker is now a NASCAR Cup Series team owner. He invested in Legacy Motor Club which competes at the top level. From singing about wagons to literally owning fast cars. That is what we call career acceleration.
-----
If you like free music. Nashville just planned your summer. CMA Fest announced around 150 artists for daytime stages. Names include Ernest, Melissa Etheridge, Tucker Wetmore, more. The free shows run June fourth through seventh downtown. Wallet stays full. Voice will absolutely not.
You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
