The media is really invested in the box office battle between “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer”, which both open on July 21st. Even though they don’t seem like they’d have any audience crossover at all. But maybe that’s not the case. AMC Theaters says that around 20,000 people who belong to their Stubs rewards program have already bought tickets to see both movies ON THE SAME DAY.

When Lainey Wilson performed on “American Idol” in May it was kind of a homecoming. Strike that. Let’s call it “returning to the scene of the crime”. The Country Music Association (CMA) has revealed performances featured in the 2023 edition of its annual CMA Fest primetime special, airing Wednesday, July 19th at 7 pm on ABC and the next day on Hulu.
