The List for Tuesday, February 4th 2025

Welcome to The List,

With all the talk about the Grammy awards…even bigger conversations are being had about the red carpet.  Specifically, Kanye West’s wife, Bianca Censori, and her see-through dress.  She could face jail time for wearing it.  The Daily Mail says calls are being made to ban Kanye West and Bianca Censori from all red carpets after their nude stunt at the Grammys.  The shocking red carpet moment cost Kanye a $20 million deal in Japan. If you haven’t seen it…it’s not for children…and children from the Make A Wish foundation were there…for the whole thing…

Sarah Michelle Gellar is in talks to return as “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” in a sequel series for Hulu.  The show will focus on a new slayer, but Sarah will have a recurring role. There’s no word what the new show will be called or if there’s any other returning actors.

—–

Still no word on when Morgan Wallen’s new album “I’m the Problem” will drop.  But it looks like it’ll be a big one in more ways than one.  He posted a photo to his Instagram Stories that suggests it’ll be another DOUBLE album.

Willie Nelson just announced the 10th annual Outlaw Music Festival Tour, that will feature 35 stops and run from May 13th through the 19th of September.  The festival brings together all kinds of music genres, like country, alt-country, Americana, bluegrass, folk, and rock.   So the tour will feature performances from Bob Dylan . . . Sheryl Crow . . . Turnpike Troubadours, and many more.

The List for Thursday, March 26th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Hookup shows come and go. Paychecks apparently stay forever. Taylor Frankie Paul will still get her full Bachelorette salary. TMZ says the payday lands in the low to mid six figures. The season got shelved after that viral domestic violence video resurfaced. Reality TV motto. Love fades. Direct deposit survives.

-----

Some guys jog. Some guys apparently brawl with neighbors. “Reacher” star Alan Ritchson reportedly got into a physical altercation. Sources say intense behavior is kind of his brand at this point. He doesn’t think he crossed a line. Neither does the authorities,

-----

Country star meets horsepower. This feels aggressively on brand. Darius Rucker is now a NASCAR Cup Series team owner. He invested in Legacy Motor Club which competes at the top level. From singing about wagons to literally owning fast cars. That is what we call career acceleration.

-----

If you like free music. Nashville just planned your summer. CMA Fest announced around 150 artists for daytime stages. Names include Ernest, Melissa Etheridge, Tucker Wetmore, more. The free shows run June fourth through seventh downtown. Wallet stays full. Voice will absolutely not.

You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
