Welcome to The List,
Rock . . . and I’m talking real, honest-to-God rock and roll . . . has been absent from the Super Bowl Halftime Show since 2010, when The Who took the stage. It’s overdue. But assuming that it makes its return in February, who should get the gig? Well, the game is being played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and Governor Joe Lombardo has an idea. At a recent press conference for the Super Bowl Host Committee, he was asked who should play the Halftime Show, and he replied, quote, “AC/DC! . . . I’m serious. Bring ’em back.”

It seems like every country singer has a bar in Nashville, so this wouldn’t be shocking: Rumor has it that Morgan Wallen is opening up a bar-slash-venue, right by the Ryman Auditorium and Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row. This begs three questions: When will it be opening . . . what will it be called . . . and will it serve Bud Light? Unfortunately, there aren’t any answers yet. Morgan and his team haven’t commented.

Miranda Lambert is developing a new TV series for Hulu inspired by her music and real-life friendships. The show centers on a messy female friendship, an escape from an abusive marriage, and a fresh start in a small Texas town that turns out to be full of secrets.
