The List for Tuesday, April 4th 2023

Welcome to The List,

Disney is becoming more and more about turning their animated hits into live-action.  The latest is “Moana”. Dwayne Johnson will be returning as the demigod Maui.  He will also produce.  He made the announcement yesterday with a short video filmed in Oahu, Hawaii with his two younger daughters. Saying “This story is my culture and is emblematic of our people’s grace and warrior strength.  I wear this culture proudly on my skin and in my soul . . .

Tyler Hubbard’s song “Dancing In The Country” his first solo project is doing well…He got to perform is at the CMT music awards.  If you’ve seen the video for the song you can tell EVERYONE is having a great time, including “America’s Got Talent” star Terry Crews. “He’s one of the coolest dudes in the world, super laid-back and down-to-earth and funny and humble and just everything you hoped he would be. He came in and crushed it.” Adding it was probably one of his favorite video’s he’s ever been a part of.

Kelsea Ballerini is catching heat AND being praised for performing with “Drag Race” stars at Sunday’s CMTs.  But someone reminded people she’s not the first country star to do it.  One of the best stories Dolly Parton tells is when she secretly entered a Dolly Drag Queen contest and LOST.

—–

“Harry Potter” TV series is in the works, and if it happens, it’ll probably end up at HBO Max. This won’t be a spin-off series like the “Fantastic Beasts” movies.  Instead, each season will be related to one of the “Harry Potter” books.  It’s not clear what, if any, characters we already know will be involved. J.K. Rowling WILL have some creative input, but she won’t be the primary creator or showrunner.

—–

Even if remakes and reboots aren’t your thing, the new “Fatal Attraction” series that’s coming to Paramount+ might be worth watching, because it has a compelling twist.  In addition to showing the affair between Dan Gallagher and Alex Forrest that causes so much chaos, and the boiling of a bunny no less, it also flashes forward to 15 years later, when Dan is getting out of prison for Alex’s murder. In a new trailer, Dan . . . played by Joshua Jackson . . . says, quote, “Every day that I have been in [prison] I have thought about Alexandra Forrest, because I need to understand what I did, how she died and why.” He also says, quote, “I did not kill that woman, and I’m going to prove it.”

—–

And lastly, Last week The Band Perry announced they’re going on hiatus. Well, shocker, yesterday Kimberly Perry shared that she’s starting her solo career.

The List for Tuesday, December 23rd 2025

Welcome to The List,

Keith Urban just gave fans exactly what they’ve been begging for. His brand-new live album “High And A(live)” is officially out now, recorded straight from the High And Alive World Tour. You get 11 number-one hits, plus his cover of “You Get What You Give.” This isn’t a watered-down live album either it’s basically front-row energy without paying arena prices.

Brad Paisley just confessed what every guy already knows… he’s a last-minute Christmas shopper. Brad says he ends up at the mall on December 24th, panic-buying gifts he doesn’t fully understand. He admits it’s a waste of what should be a fun day, but somehow he still does it every year. Buying mystery gifts and hoping for the best… truly a man of the people.

-----

Cher is catching heat for allegedly lip-syncing during her Saturday Night Live performance. Some fans compared it to Ashlee Simpson’s infamous 2004 moment which feels a little dramatic. Cher is 79 years old, it’s a taped show, and lip-syncing has been happening on SNL longer than the cold open.

-----

Jake Paul revealed he had surgery after getting knocked out by Anthony Joshua. He says doctors had to install two titanium plates on each side of his jaw and remove some teeth. Jake says the surgery went well, but he’s on liquids only for seven days. Nothing humbles a YouTuber faster than being on a smoothie diet.

The List for Monday, December 22nd 2025

Welcome to The List,

Mike Tyson says he’s open to a rematch with Jake Paul after Jake’s recent loss to Anthony Joshua. Tyson claims this time he’s cracked the code on training, saying he went too hard before and “left most of the fight in the gym.” RadarOnline says Mike thinks a smarter camp would change everything. Which is wild, because the man is still Mike Tyson. If this happens, somebody hide the ear protection… literally.

-----

Taylor Swift reportedly used to be hesitant about dating athletes until Travis Kelce showed up. A source says her mom encouraged her to give Travis a chance, and now Taylor’s outlook has completely changed. Not only that, insiders claim the relationship has boosted the Chiefs’ global presence. Turns out the tight end also unlocked international brand expansion.

-----

Lainey Wilson told CMT she stays grounded by remembering where she came from. She said it’s about planting your feet, knowing who you are, standing up for what you believe in, and keeping your people close. Which explains why she can win everything, host award shows, and still sound like the most normal human in Nashville.

-----

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are reportedly still neighbors in Nashville as they focus on co-parenting their daughters. Nicole stays in the family home, Keith lives nearby, and they’re even spotted shopping at the same stores…just separately. A source says their dedication to the kids is unwavering. Awkward? Maybe.
