The List for Tuesday, April 26th 2022

Welcome to The List,

WILL SMITH went to India . . . supposedly to meet with a spiritual guru.  Meanwhile, CHRIS ROCK’s mom addressed the slap. “When Will slapped Chris, he slapped all of us, but he really slapped me.  When you hurt my child, you hurt me.”   She said she’s really proud of Chris for the way he dealt with the slap, and   You (Will Smith) really could have been taken out in handcuffs.

JASON ALDEAN is dedicating his song “Your Mama” to his four-year-old son Memphis.  saying, “I really wanted to record it for my son.  It’s probably the most personal thing I’ve ever done on a record.”  “Your Mama” is on his new album, “Georgia”, which came out Friday.

 —–

Bill Murray’s new movie project called ‘Being Mortal’ was shut down recently.   A source claims that the reason is because he was getting too handsy with women.  He didn’t touch them in an ‘inappropriate’ way and his conduct wasn’t illegal . . . but it made some of the women uncomfortable.  put an arm around a woman, touched her hair, pulled her ponytail . . . but always in a comedic way.

Bill Murray is accused of groping a woman on a movie set.  “I’ve seen worse,” responded Alec Baldwin.

 —–

Being called a ‘Redneck’ to some would be considered an insult…Not Justin Moore!!  He’d like you to know that the word redneck means “more” than what people usually use it for.   “It’s blue-collar, hard-workin’, simple . . . in a good way, God-fearing.  And so, it’s absolutely a compliment.  To me there’s not much of a higher one.”  Justin has a Greatest Hits out now…and his tour starts May 5th in Knoxville TN

 —–

More drama in the court room with Johnny Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard. Last week Amber’s attorney claimed that Amber carried a concealer palette from Milani Cosmetics during the ENTIRE relationship to cover bruises Johnny caused.   Milani Cosmetics taking to Tik Tok showing this would be impossible because the makeup item that she’s talking about came out in 2017, long after her and johnny broke up in 2016….ooops…..

HARDY is getting everything in place for his wedding…He tells Music Mayhem magazine that he’s excited for his upcoming wedding. Saying “We have a new wedding planner and she’s awesome. We are making headway and it’s been great. It’s very exciting. We have a venue and a date, which is the most important thing, now the fun can begin. When is it? Let’s just say it’s sometime in October” I’ll be watching for my invitation……

The List for Friday, July 11th 2025

Welcome to The List,

It’s been 40 years since Live Aid rocked the world—literally. Back on July 13, 1985, Wembley and JFK Stadiums tag-teamed a global concert watched by nearly 2 billion people. And now? CNN’s dropping a 4-part doc, and the UK is throwing it a full-blown birthday party. That’s right—Live Aid’s old enough to complain about back pain now!

-----

Ozzy Osbourne has officially hung up the bat wings. His last-ever concert—"Back to the Beginning"—went down July 5th in Birmingham with Black Sabbath and a parade of metal legends. It was epic, emotional, and charitable! When he sang “Mama I’m Coming Home,” even the devils in the mosh pit teared up.

-----

Jelly Roll clapped back HARD at people calling his wife a gold digger. He said, "She was a high-end escort when I met her—I was the broke one living in a van!" And honestly? The man married up! So maybe stop judging and start taking notes, huh?

-----

Parker McCollum was asked the most country thing he’s ever done… and buckle up: He said, “Rode a horse bareback. Naked. In Crocs.” I—what?! That is peak country chaos right there. And no, there are no plans for a repeat performance. His words, not mine.

You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
