Welcome to The List,

Whiskey Riff says Tish Cyrus is divorcing Billy Ray Cyrus. She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and is asking a judge to evenly divide all of their marital assets. The couple has not lived together for two years. This is the third time they have filed for a divorce. after 30 years, five children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways. Was it something he said?

Will Ferrell is joining the cast of the new ”Barbie” movie. The film already stars Margot Robbie (Barbie), Ryan Gosling (Ken), America Ferrera and Kate McKinnon. No word on who Will who will be playing

Britney Spears might be pregnant.  She said on Instagram that she took a pregnancy test and she’s, quote, “having a baby”.  At first she thought she just ate to much…but then…no… her boyfriend posted about fatherhood being, quote, “the most important job I will ever do.” Makes me wonder if he realizes it’s Britney Spears…

Congratulations Cody Johnson broke out big, winning his first two trophies at last night’s “CMT Music Awards”.  “Dear Rodeo” won the Digital-First Performance of the Year, and “Til You Can’t” took home Male Video of the Year. The awards show was ok, first time I’ve ever seen ‘Rope Acrobatics’ associated with country music…but, you go Carrie!!

The List for Thursday, February 5th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Rumors are flying that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have allegedly set a wedding date. A so-called source says the planning is “military-level precise,” which tracks, because Taylor hates surprises and Travis runs NFL playbooks for a living. Pop music, professional football, and Hollywood elite all in one room. Locked down, protected, unforgettable. Basically the most intense group project ever attempted.

-----

Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison is launching a new dating show for people who want a “traditional, marriage-minded partnership built on commitment and shared values.” Which apparently is now considered edgy programming. Somewhere, reality TV just gasped. This is not roses and drama. This is compatibility and emotional maturity.

-----

Before Luke Combs made it big, he had $200 left in his bank account. That money went toward mastering one song, “Hurricane.” He releases it, sells about 10,000 copies the first week, and uses the cash to finish the rest of the album. Then pitches it to labels. And that, kids, is how you bet on yourself and win.

-----

Toby Keith, Kenny Rogers, and Ed Harris are being inducted into the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. The ceremony happens in April in Oklahoma City. They’re joining legends like George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Kurt Russell, and Burt Reynolds. That is a hall with serious swagger. Cowboy hats optional. Legends required.

Catch The List, with Jonathan Knight weekday afternoon at 4:20. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
