Friends star Matthew Perry gets candid about his drug use . . . and how it almost killed him . . . in his upcoming book “Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing”. In a new interview with “People”, he says he almost DIED when his colon burst due to opioid abuse four years ago. At one point Matthew was taking 55 Vicodin a day, season 9 was the only year he was sober all the way through. His book comes out in November.

One of the few bad things about “Cobra Kai” is that Mr. Miyagi isn’t a part of it. But they’re not done telling his story . . . because a prequel series centered on him is in the works. Ralph Macchio says, “It’s in the discussion stages . . . It’s a project that I’m cheering for personally, because [Pat Morita] always wanted to do more with where Miyagi came from, so that would be wonderful to see that realized.”

Congratulations to Chris Lane the ‘Take Back Home Girl’ singer and his wife Lauren have welcomed their second child. Lauren posted an update on social media saying that a baby boy arrived on Sunday, and they shared video of him meeting his older brother Dutton, who’s 16 months old. There’s no word on the baby’s name.

Garth Brooks finally got inked…He spent the first 60 years of his life with NO tattoos. Then he went to Ireland last month and got all inked up!! Fulfilling a promise he made to his daughter Allie back in 2014. Garth says ‘I have the five women of my life. My mom, Miss Yearwood, and my three daughters.’

Blake Shelton is going to film his new USA Network game show, Barmageddon, at his Nashville bar, Ole Red. Carson Daly and Nikki Bella are going to co-host the show. Sheryl Crow, Elle King, Trace Adkins, Chris Young and Kane Brown will compete on it.

The Rock tells Turner Classic Movies that he cries every time he watches Mel Gibson’s movie, ”Braveheart.” “I watched that movie about a month ago. Got “misty-eyed.” I have in my possession the sword that Mel Gibson uses in Braveheart. It is a massive sword, and one of the few that a Scottish blacksmith and his family, generational blacksmiths, have been commissioned to make that sword from the Wallace family.”

The Army says two Blackhawk helicopters near his Tennessee mansion were just on a Nashville training route, but now they’re checking into why they hovered there. Kid says nobody’s getting in trouble and called it pretty neat. Nothing says casual Tuesday like cannonballs, patriotism, and two black helicopters hovering near your house…

Thomas Rhett says one of his favorite parts of touring is trying wild new foods on the road, which sounds adventurous and expensive. Meanwhile Dylan Scott keeps it a little more backyard chaos at home, admitting he’ll wander into the kitchen at midnight and cook a full meal like it’s noon. His wife wakes up confused; he’s making dinner round two. That’s not a snack, that’s a second shift.
