The List for Thursday, June 15th 2023

Welcome to The List,

If it seems like Luke Bryan is everywhere, and that’s because he is.  He’s been working so much that his life needs a tune-up.  That’s what he told his fan club party in Nashville that he loves to work but not really balancing it that well this year.  He told his wife they’re going to find a boat and go to the Caribbean or something to relax.  I bet Kenny Chesney could help out with that…

US Weekly Magazine says Jennifer Aniston allegedly believes she will eventually find ‘Mr Right’. A source says, ”In her gut, she believes she’ll eventually meet the right person. If she never finds love again, she will be just fine as she has her fur babies and buddies to warm her heart, I bet deep down she believes one day Brad will come to his senses and find his way back.

If Luke Combs is recording new music, I want to know about it.  You too?  Yesterday, Shenandoah posted a photo of Luke with his arm around lead singer Marty Raybon.  The caption read, “Good times in the studio today with Luke.  We have some exciting things in the works.  Stay tuned.”

Closer Weekly Magazine, claims . Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are allegedly having disagreements over how to decorate their new $50 million Los Angeles mansion.  A source says “Jen’s paid for most if not all of it, saying it was the small price to pay for their future happiness. She doesn’t want to keep losing money on cars, hired help, personal trainers etc…and that cave that Ben thinks he’s keeping secret…she knows he goes out late at night to fight crime…

Old Dominion’s Matthew Ramsey says being a father is humbling “To come in and have to fix breakfast and get everybody’s lunch packed and get them out the door and take them to school. It’s a very nice thing and it’s a great way to just remember that you are a real person and not everybody cares that you have a guitar and sing songs. It’s really the best thing you could ever do is be a dad.” It’s a bit of a double life, when you’re no longer a rockstar.. you’re just dad…

And lastly, Thomas Rhett tells CountryNow.com that he’s never been good at math. Saying he leaned how to tip just two years ago from his wife without using a calculator. She was afraid I’d leave like a $100 tip on a $15 bill.”

The List for Thursday, February 19th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Travis Kelce is out here setting expectations so high the rest of us are gonna get yelled at for bringing home gas station flowers. He’s reportedly spent $141,000 on pre-wedding gifts for Taylor Swift, including Rolex watches, designer jackets, and daily flower deliveries. Daily. Meanwhile, I forgot my anniversary once and tried to fix it with a breakfast burrito. Travis Kelce just ruined relationships for every man in America.

-----

Lainey Wilson is teasing new music, and the title might be the most Lainey Wilson thing ever. The new single is called “Can’t Sit Still,” which tracks, because she’s been everywhere except my back yard party. She says her friends describe her as “a suitcase with legs,” which honestly sounds like Delta Airlines lost her twice already. No official release date yet, but she says it’s coming “real soon,” so prepare your playlists accordingly.

-----

Bunnie XO just revealed she thought Jelly Roll was a jerk when they first met, which proves once again women love a fixer-upper. She said he had “teddy bear with teeth energy” and sad eyes, and she basically looked at him like a home improvement project from HGTV. Fast forward to now, they’re one of Country music’s biggest power couples. Moral of the story, sometimes the guy who ignores you becomes your husband.

-----

The new Mummy reboot is ditching the Tom Cruise action vibe and going straight for emotional damage. This one’s from the director of Evil Dead Rise, so instead of running from explosions, you’ll be running from your own nightmares. It’s about a girl who disappears and comes back after spending quality time inside a 3,000-year-old coffin. It hits theaters April 17th, and I’ll be watching it from the safety of daylight and denial.

You can catch The List, this afternoon at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
